It's all part of keeping us mediocre. Hinkley under pressure so run a feel good success story. It's so pathetic but very calculating & will help their cause which is also pathetic. I'm so done, there doesn't seem to be an end to this nightmare.

If we actually had some footy journos in this town worth a pinch of sh¡t, one of them could hopefully extract the rationale behind the club’s strategy of stable mediocrity while overpromising/underdelivering — and the internal belief that this is perfectly fine.

If it’s all about stringing along bandwagoners while taking the rank and file for granted in the belief that only bottom-4 finishes are truly unacceptable (lest a resumption of tarp time), then come out and say that and face the inevitable slings and arrows of universal scrutiny.

This culture of deflection and gaslighting is intolerable.

Rucci in his season review…

“World sport has notable examples of long-standing coaches - such as Claudio Ranieri in world football and Andy Reid in NFL football - who ultimately achieved championships by standing true to their beliefs in building strong foundations on which they built sound football programs.”

Who does need facts when one can simply write whatever nonsense that comes to mind?

So Rucci’s moved from “Geelong fans wanted to sack Bomber Thompson, Richmond fans wanted to sack Damien Hardwick” to,

“Hey, uh, completely devoid of any relevant context, here’s two blatantly cherry-picked examples of career coaches who broke through for a title — one a literal miracle, the other with arguably the most talented quarterback ever — eventually”.

Meanwhile Koch has switched out “remember 2012?!” for “remember 2002?!”

Can’t believe the fanbase is at boiling point!

I'm a little confused when it comes to the Magpies, Koch lives off their history and pushes the bars, meanwhile he has allowed the Magpies to become the new South Adelaide.
Oh that's right the new age happy clappers only care about kEnNy and the POwEr.
Koch does not like the bars. He sees them as a dilution.
Literally told me to my face.

Anything he does with them is forced on him and performative.

Season 2 Episode 5 of - ‘Winning Time’.

Magic telling Busse YOU AIN’T MY FATHER’ we are barely winning!

And the rest of his rant, exactly how players should be speaking to Hinkley.

So why is he here? This combined with Benny D’s revelations regarding his misinformed growth strategies, and his penchant for stable, accountability-free, mediocrity.

It’s a disgrace.

I reckon there’s threads by Lockhart Road explaining that 😂.

Dom the genius. Apparently Ken has one of the best tactical minds in the business. I must have missed it😂 The title of this old article seems entirely appropriate to the s**t show we are seeing today The cult of Ken Hinkley: 'You don't want to let him down'

Jesus that's prescient. 9 years ago and now cult like is the best way to describe it. Remember butters having to give ken a personal apology?

I must've missed the bit where Ranieri achieved the ultimate at Leicester in his first, not 11th plus, season in charge and then got sacked halfway through his second season despite having another year left on his contract.

There’s a very stark contrast between the messaging master class that Ange Postecoglou is running at the moment, and the word out of our camp at the moment. Sure, the circumstances are different, but is it really that hard?

“No, no, no, let them go, let them enjoy it," he said to SpursTV when asked if it was his job to manage expectations. "I've said this before, my role is not to burst peoples' bubbles. Let them get excited and ahead of themselves, that's the beauty of being a supporter.

"They go through enough pain, let them enjoy and if they think we're going to be world-beaters great, it's then up to us to match those expectations. Our supporters deserve to have some happiness and they can enjoy it anyway they want to."

When the Camry's rip past us next year, the media and Crom heads will be putting the knives in, no where to hide.
They should be disgusted losing 2 Showdowns this year considering they had a change of coach, campgate and a wooden spoon not that long ago.
Pathetic Port is more appropriate for the way we let them rag doll us.
Not a peep out the club though, nothing to see here.

Who gives a flying fig what Dominic Cassisi says. Not fit to tie Tredder's boots.
Cassisi being appointed captain over Burgoyne will go down as one of our club’s biggest ever **** ups. The pain is still felt 15 years later because he has been elevated to a status much higher than he deserves by idiots now leading the club.

The sliding of all sliding doors moments.

S. Burgoyne went on to become an all time great and we became a rabble.

Go listend to when Koch was on Fiveaa last week and they mentioned how Fos would be rolling in his grave at the state of Port and Koch just scoffed and laughed as some joke of a time of the club
Whats Fos done for us recently?
When was the last time you saw him down at the club?
