He can't overrule a majority board decision however as all but two of the board members are only on the board at Koch's whim he has leverage to have them vote the way he wants.

Tredders needs to put together a consoidated team/consortium to run against the incumbents.

If he could get say 6 including himself - made up of he and one other ex-player with ingrained footy nouse and knowledge of what on-field success looks like and how to deliver it, a couple of wheeler-dealers who can swing big sponsorship/partnership $'s deals, a high-flying "big end of town" (or overseas) proven successful manager of a high performance sporting organisation, and a marketing/promotional/branding guru with lega expertise tofind holes in the AFL's rues and regs, and convince 4 existing board members (with the skillsets to complement the new boys/girls), then..............

But I do think we need to convince some of the current Board that we value them and what they can bring, and spell out to them that they will not have to live under the constraint of a dictator who micro manages every decision to his own wishes. That way, we stand more chance of success!
