We played with a recognisable gameplan, and surpassed expectations. We did this in 2013, and in 2014. Its the 8 years after that where we couldn't even win a single knockout final that has people calling for change. Its also important to remember that the expectation on any coach in their 11th year is a flag.

I said Port have managed to get it all together this year, and that it's been 20 years since Ken coached a side to a premiership. Never said anything about Port having already won the premiership this year.

If Bell Park is being counted as "coaching a side to a premiership" then I'm sure most of us have won a flag more recently than Ken.
