Chesser and Burgiel have both been removed from the list after recovering from their respective injuries

Andrew Gaff has retired and won’t be available to play

Thanks.
It might seem obvious that they play Wafl first, but Allen came straight in.
Maybe 2 weeks in Wafl?
Just itching to see Hewett and Reid together (without high expectations)
Maybe in for the two home games, Derby and Suns...

I’m hoping Allen was a special case because (a) he’s the captain, and (b) he might have played WAFL the week before the Essendon game if it hadn’t been a bye, he ended up playing match sim that weekend instead.

Hewett and Bazzo should definitely have a couple of weeks in the WAFL before they’re considered. Unlike last year we’re not in a position where we have to rush guys in.

surely they have credits in the bank though...

So backing up a couple of weeks when we were waiting days for scans etc on an injury.

Not even 24 hours later. Pies Mihocek scans are back. Torn peck out for season.

No wonder all the AFL players want to play in Melbourne and the Pies. Players just struggle to see doctors who work on weekends in Perth, or Monday.....or Tueaday...... ;) :$:$:$

McGovern gone to hospital with rib-lung injury again

Best case scenario is that it’s precautionary in order to clear him to fly home and there’s no lung damage/broken ribs

Both he and Maric have been sent to hospital before this season but have been able to play the next week

Also, clubs are being a bit more diligent on rib/internal injuries after the complete petracca shit show.

Jeremy McGovern and his injury.“He has a broken rib, that’s why he was kept in Melbourne overnight. They are trying to get him back in next few days.”

was that the one where he got a free kick and also copped a hit to the cheek?

From Melksham,no that was in the first half.

Shocked (not overly because of the bias) that it wasn’t cited by the mro. Chose to make contact, hit head, Harley would have got 2 weeks for ‘potential to injure’

Not worth a week, but a fine should have been given

I caught the back end of Duffs interview of Gavin Bell and heard something about Hewett not playing this weekend - did anyone catch the full interview?
