Only Essendon St. Kilda people can save Essendon St. Kilda
I remember something something like that being said when GT got the job. We'd tried people from other clubs thinking they must be better but maybe we just need people who understand the Saints and how to get the best out of us rather than trying to turn us into something we're not.

I'm a very, very important person

Last week the media release for the 11.30am presser came out at 7am. I was expecting something by now. Unless the presser is this afternoon and the email comes out later, we might have to wait until Tuesday.
The funny thing is, when he says “we” he’s actually referring to him and the journalists having to wait. No regard for the common folk from the big shot on campus.
Yep, so many Saints fans were getting to the end of their tether. This is a circuit breaker and a resetting of hope even if it's a dead end.

I was really considering walking away if next year had gone badly under Ratts. They were more frustration than joy. I'm more pumped now than I've been for years. I can't wait for the next season.
Even if this doesn’t work out, with Lyon, it feels so refreshing for the club to have pulled off such a deliberate and bold move. I’m not expecting the club to shoot up the ladder, I’ll be okay if we drop a few places next year as the team gets used to the game plan and teaches the fitness goals required. It actually feels like for the first time in probably 15 years, we are actually building something. It’s the most excited I’ve been for a long time, and it’s just what I needed after this last 11 years of mediocrity.

I actually don’t mind the appointment of Goddard.
Something old - R2
Something new - BJ in a coaching role
Gets no credit because he was bitter about how he left. He walked into a train wreck and was fantastic on and off the field for the injectors. I think he’ll be great for us if he actually gets a chance and I’m more than happy to see saints people who care about the club running the show.

Rossy better watch his back though, as he might get the Watters treatment if he steps on a few precious toes;);)

We might have had a few more A Graders if that rattle head didn’t get his greasy mitts on them. Must be the only goal kicking coach ever that made every single player worse.
Dixon is best known for his contributions to many soul jazz albums on the Blue Note label led by Grant Green, Lou Donaldson and Big John Patton. He died in 2018.

"It's gonna end in tears"

Ha ha, no shit Nostradamus, like ever senior coach pretty much in the history of the AFL.

And now we're getting potted by Dicko......hey mate, if it was such a problem when you were employed as a coach....THEN WHY DIDNT YOU DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT?

If you're letting that stuff go because "culcha"......then you're part of the problem.

Slaughtered list is so over the top. It has been rejigged, it's not old. It's not amazing but it's not terminal and it will be interesting to see if Ross can get more out of it.

but that doesn't get clicks.
