Excuse the intrusion here, but I would think its a very distinct possibility, given that Geoff Walsh is Exec GM of Football at the Saints. He loves Bucks and the two worked very closely in the Collingwood days so I would think it a chance.

I think most Saints fans know that!! our good is very good, but its the fact that our shit is horrendous and we can't hold ANY form line through games let alone across multiple games. our wins were mostly off the back of an excellent 1/4 and a half. the question is it players or coaching?

Was development coach with us during the Watters years in 2012+13. Pretty sh*thouse years.

We went from 6th with Lyon's final season, to 9th, 16th, 18th, 14th, 9th, 11th, 16th, 14th....

Not sure that his development years helped us at all.

You assume he had much control… also, our drafting during those years was pretty craptacular; not sure he had much to work with.

I’m a busy man, but you’re in a deep hole with the Sainters and I’m prepared to dig you out! I am hereby nominating myself for the position of senior coach. Down to business. You want to know what experience I’ve had of coaching a football team? Absolutely none. So what! The name of the game is motivation and psychology and that I know about. Why do you suppose Tom Hafey consistently delivered the goods? Because he could terrorise the boys into turning it on for him, That’s why. I’ll be the same. I’ll have the boys so psyched up that they’ll run around the park like demented threshing machines reducing even the Collingwood army to a bunch of quivering jelly backs. In one respect only will I carry on the policies of my predecessor, I’ll get rid of all the good players, it won’t take long. The players who stay behind will feel less bad about their uselessness out the on the ground. You also seem to have a few bad eggs on the boardroom table, they will have to go. Leave it to me. I’ll be happy to drop around to Moorabbin finalise the details, salary, perks, kick backs etc.

I will say the positive thing is it seems pretty clear that the coach we will look to go after will be more ruthless regarding the program and the players.

Let’s just hope we can find that coach.
