^ pretty much, saints were thumped in hitouts and contested marks. Those 2 big marks taken by freo in front of goals in the first really set the tone for the match. That and their DE % in the first was spot on

I don't think there's any statistic or continual pieces of play to back up your claim other than the last 3 goals the saints kicked. 12-2 at half time is pretty bloody good.

Interesting that Lyon admitted at his press conference that his players were told to slow down the tempo of the game at half time.

Cannot be bothered reading through the whole 15 pages, but I saw a few comments about the umpiring. I think the umpires were pretty poor and we seemed to get the better of the decisions.

Terrific performance from Fremantle overall. Got the win early on with manic ball movement and relaxed with tempo footy. What a difference straight kicking makes !
