Sources told the Herald Sun Cousins and Chick had been seen with at least two dancers from strip bars in Perth's nightclub district of Northbridge. Cousins is believed to have mixed with a stripper since returning from the US. Staff at Voodoo Lounge, popular among bikie gangs, yesterday confirmed Cousins had visited. Club sources said Cousins had been staying at Chick's beachside home in Perth's northern suburbs since the death of friend and former teammate Chris Mainwaring. Neighbours yesterday reported several loud parties at the home in recent days. It is believed senior Eagles officials and people close to Cousins have been concerned for his welfare in recent days. I dont know about the credibility of the Herald Sun's "sources" but it is pretty damning if club officials were aware of this activity and didn't intervene.

Was Chick's beachside home really the best living arrangement for Cousins??

Noooooooooooo.
Chick is the dirty weasle behind all this shiz.
With Chick gone, hopefully you guys can start fresh and move on from all the dodgey stuff that was going on.
Good luck for the future, one day it will all be ancient history and maybe you'll have a couple more premierships to stick it up em.:thumbsu:

It would seem he'd started in a big way before he left the Hawks then eh? If so, your administration did a fine job of keeping us in the dark when you palmed him off to us in '03. Then again, maybe they thought a change of scenery & a fresh start would be good for him.

And to think that I considered WC to have done better out of the trade for Chick, as opposed to ours for Headland in 03. Chick for pick 8 in hindsight has been a tragedy if he has influenced other players with his filth.

Hawthorn had nothing to do with Chick joining the WCE, Chick asked to return to his home town after family problems and any dealing was between himself and your club.
As if we're gonna say 'Oh, by the way, we suggest you don't take Daniel Chick because he takes recreationlal drugs.'
Daniel Chick was a great player in our team and deserved any help from Hawthorn to move on.
I have no question that any drug problems that he had were miniscule compared to what it became once he settled in WA.
