Why notAs in we can post relating to that article right?
Either would be good
Effectively, with Dillon becoming CEO there is a position which needs filling high up in the AFL. They expect Gale to be pursued along with Harley
IMO we haven't done anything to deserve favouritism over any of the teams in the eight yet.Already written us off against the Magpies - can't say that's an unexpected call

Sounds great, but excuse me for being cynical.. Ive heard a lot of BS come from AFL house and their ceoWhat Dillon did on first day as CEO-elect revealed as he ponders AFLW brand refresh
“I want to really focus on our AFLW competition.”www.sen.com.au
Plenty of complaints from the NSW teams of being marginalised and lack of contact from AFL head office.
So promising start from Andrew Dillon as the new AFL CEO.
Dillon also raised growing the game in New South Wales as a priority, suggesting there’s money in the budget for further investment.
“NSW is an important growth market for us,” he added.
“I’m not sure whether it’s a review, but what I am going to do is go up to Sydney and sit down with (Sydney president) Andrew Pridham and (Sydney CEO) Tom Harley and (GWS CEO) Dave Matthew and (GWS president) Tony Shepherd and also our team at AFL NSW and just make sure that the investment that we’re putting in there now is doing the best it can.
“In October last year, the commission resolved at least 10 per cent of the industry revenue would be going to community football, so if there’s cases for more investment in NSW, I think we’re in the position to do that.”
Not this bloke , he is genuineSounds great, but excuse me for being cynical.. Ive heard a lot of BS come from AFL house and their ceo
I bet the catch is "you can have an extra 10% if you raise an extra 30% of gambling revenue"Sounds great, but excuse me for being cynical.. Ive heard a lot of BS come from AFL house and their ceo

Literally nothing will happen.
Why not give him a chance ffsCorrect. Dillon as a good old boy Senior Executive has been party to the AFLs studied indifference to the health of the Code for ages. Mathews comments may have stirred them a little but you are right. They do not give a rats and SFA will happen.
I'm with this. Give him the benefit of the doubt. He isn't even properly taking over until end of the season. But I want to trust him for the moment, and then let him break my heart. But without hope, we are screwed! Why not give him a chance ffs
Sorry, what I meant is I think it is silly just having a thread with articles in it that you can't discuss. And I think at the start of the thread there is an index of all articles? If you just want to come here to read the articles then people can just visit that and not read the comments by posters.Who said that , Hairy Biker posted one from the AGE . It just get's derailed . It's fantastic for those that can't get all swans news .
Always someone will get through the paywall . Thanks for your input .
It's the way they always do it - the incoming CEO says something that is supposed to make everyone happy so that he has a good honeymoon period. You may remember that Gill's promise was to do something about the cost of food at stadiums (what a great man of the people!) - and how is that going now? I will expect the new bloke to make a vague promise about the future of day GFs thereby keeping everyone but the TV stations happy, while it will eventually be changed anyway. The talk about extra funding for NSW is simply just talk at this stage as he knows if he makes the right noises then he will be left alone by the presidents of the northern states for a little while until he cements his place into the same-old, same-old production line of AFL CEOs with no accountability and mountains of power and money.Sounds great, but excuse me for being cynical.. Ive heard a lot of BS come from AFL house and their ceo
