Part of me kinda hopes that Horse's front to the media is just that... a front.
I always have more faith in Horse & co before I've listened to one of his pressers than after it. Whenever he speaks to the media he makes it seem like our problems are quite simple (ie. lack of intent, inaccurate goalkicking, fourth-quarter fade-outs), like they are the only things holding us back, when really it's all of them and so much more. We need a better handball game, we need better forward entries, we need more first ball out of the mids if we are to ever win a flag.
I'd like to think he's aware of just how much work we have to do to get back on track. Just sometimes reckon it'd be reassuring to hear from the horse's mouth (no pun intended.) Understand why he can't though, not exactly a great look to be on camera rattling off a laundry list of ways the team is struggling LOL
If we got them right we'd be 5-2 and would have been competitive against the Dees
But true, there's a little more to it.

And just quietly - the youngsters who did the Harry & Horse portraits are pretty damn talented.

Not sure I agree with COLA coming back but the retention allowance should come back in.
To curb the sooking it should be available to all clubs, paid as an extra 10% cap space per interstate player on your list.
With Tas coming into the league and needing to be competitive, it would be a good time for the northern clubs to push for it.
