The trouble with trade week is we don't know what they actually tried to do or not do. Maybe they made 50 calls or asked guys if they would agree to a trade
There was a blueprint for beating us. Brisbane executed on it almost perfectly.
FFS they played well and were coached well , while we were shit in both
All 50 phone calls reportedly went something like this:
“Hello, it’s the Swans here, is {insert player name} there?”
“Honey, it’s that AFL mob that keeps choking in Grand Finals”
“Well, we don’t consider that defines us….”

It's not like we did anything to make the blueprint less predictable all year long though. Really disappointing season in the coaches box IMO.
The fact this is the 4th time where we realise we have to go through all the pain, anxiety, ecstasy of the season to try and give ourselves another “shot at redemption” after losing yet another grand final is ****en deflating

I kept it to myself but i knew we were ****ed when they came back from 7 goals down in 30mins.

Just renewed my membership, but cancelled Premiership Club.
The guy from membership told me if I cancelled and then wanted to take it up again at a later date, there would be an additional charge. He couldn't hold back a chuckle when I told him that there was no way I was ever going to put myself through the torture of another Swans grand final performance after the shit they dished up, yet again, last month.
Fair enough was all he had to say....

I kept my red zone membership, which is just 11 games GA admittance and I think cutting PC has cut something like $125 off each membership.

It felt like all year that we were not as good as the ladder portrayed , the least dominant top side in forever and that proved correct
Interview I heard with our bloke was he said "the focus is on retention"
To me the real question is how we made the GF in the first place.
