I like the look on Mark Seymour's face when people like Billy Brownless ask him if "Holy Grail" is about AFL every so often

All the locals scattered they were hiding in the snow

Obvious Waverley Park reference.

It really wasn't. Timmy's persona is super entertaining at the bar at SMOSH West Lakes FC, but he was ill-prepared for his stint at the Garden of Unearthly Delights.
He needed to have rehearsed out the unevenness and taken out 80% of the swearing. IMO it wouldn't have hurt to have not pitched it so hard at Port supporters but I can also see how that was a strength.
Hopefully he's had some good advice about putting on a proper show this year because he is a genuinely funny guy in real life.
He was at Gluttony last year, not the Garden.

Also, the show was clearly described to be exactly what it was - a bloke telling a few yarns about his playing days and life, with a bunch of jokes thrown in. If that's what you went for, that's what you got.

I took my partner (who had no idea who Timmy was) and a mate from Victoria who has never watched a game of Football in his life - and they both enjoyed it.

If you went expecting the best comedian in the Fringe, and a polished act you're probably in the wrong place.

I saw it towards the end of the run, so perhaps it was a bit smoother by then.

I'm in Perth tonight.

It's currently 8.42pm and 1985.

I'm going all spoiler on these campaigners lined up to see back to the future at the cinema.

You don't have to go back quite as far as 1985 to find a cinema in Perth, but almost.

And give Gobbles and Pinnochios a miss - the Red Parrot is where it's at.

The ship sunk at the end of the movie
Couldn't help but read the spoiler and that's pretty much why I haven't seen it, not really sure how much could have been placed into the Movie that would have made me sit back and think, "well, I'll be farked"

Mate it wasn't a serious spoiler.

You have heard of the Titanic right?

The iceberg an all?

Basically his character runs around in purple spandex and shoots people on the ship.

As pictured below

My favourite part is when he fights Shang Tsung

Man, whatever became of the Phantom? Given the current phase of comic book movies, I'm surprised nobody's had a crack at bringing a new Phantom to the big screen. The original dual pistol wielding badass.

Phantom? Cmon edgie as a fellow star wars fan I am disappointed in you.

The only character that the Phantom beats is Aquaman and that's just a default given.

I have a stack of Phantom comics numbered from 900-1100ish.

Chumlee'll offer me $50 for the lot.

What? Come on. Phantom is the original (not a) superhero. Comic culture owes a lot to him.

How different would that movie have been if it had gone to Bruce Campbell instead of Billy Zane...

Billy Zane didnt do it justice I give you that.

The only thing I credit Phantom for is sentting the fashion trend for wearing spandex with your underwear on the outside.

The guy had no superpowers none he was.stuffed outside the jungle just like Aquaman outside water.:p

Batman has no superpowers either yet has become something of a mainstream pop culture staple. Not mainstream but there's also personal favourite, the Punisher.

I'm not having a go at Billy Zane, I thought he did his best. Bruce Campbell would have been significantly different though I reckon. Perhaps it may have even led to him cracking the big time. Sliding doors.

The Warrior version would be "If Billy Zane lost out to Bruce Campbell in The Phantom casting... He'd still have Dead Calm on his resume".
