Think there's a bit of quality difference between Buddy and TDK, unless I haven't watched enough Blues games and have missed something? If you're throwing a million $ around I think you'd be wanting a well proven product

Right now I think he’s worth 2 years at slightly above average wage for Carlton.

Another club has to give more overs to get him to leave but yeah he’s certainly not worth close to what’s being touted on exposed form alone

Teams can definitely succeed with role rucks and TDK is still just mostly potential at the moment despite 6 years in the system. Spending 700-800K+ (I suspect offers in that range) on still unproved ruck/forward seems crazy to me considering how many AA players Blues have and have to pay. I also have some doubts about his forward craft and can he really be a good forward.

As a Suns fan I looked at Moyle on Thursday practice and to be honest he looks to me already close to TDK ruck level after only one season (Moyle was the best ruck in VFL). That's the type of rucks Blues should be after if TDK leaves. And keep Pittonet healthy if possible.

100% I get he has some nice highlights, but that's a comparable to what players like Bont and Cripps are getting and they are 5 times the proven player he is. He'd want to smash it out the park this year to be worth that, surely?

You'll get at least what we gave for Jackson (assuming he doesn't go to a bottom club) for that move.

I think the fact he has a talented brother with similar athletic attributes helps keep him in the headlines. I am happy for him to be pumped up. Ups his trade value for us if he leaves.

Yes he was. And yes he is.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the strategy, though TDK would be a deviation from the norm on this front.

They’re not getting him for a bargain basement price as has been the case for most other examples.

We are interested. We need another tall forward, which I’m not sure if he’s really suited to being.
It’s whether that interest is reciprocated and if he even wants to looks elsewhere.
