Mid first because of his enormous salary. Will be a good player but still requires a lot of work. His brother is a more natural footballer.
It doesn't matter what contract you offer what you end up trading to get someone is based on how much the club the player is leaving values them.

I just don’t get the hype on this bloke , seriously what’s he done?
Some of the numbers getting thrown around are crazy… or are people just expecting him to suddenly turn into his brother?
He’s a pretty good stopper and can take a few intercepts.

At his height he can play on the beanpole KPF.

However, you’d probably be better off spending the coin elsewhere than a KPD that isn’t top 5-10.

Kane Cornes started the hype and Damian Barret piggy backed on, now the media have created their own story based off a footy shock jocks opinion.. None of the hype has come from within clubland or any Carlton fan, most who see the massive flaws in his game at the same time seeing the potential if he can eliminate the flaws… Luke Jackson’s failure to impact as a key forward will scare a lot of clubs away from spending big coin on TDK

I'm really worried the Saints are going to go hard for him. He's not worth anymore than a second round pick but the hype around him is ridiculous
If I am the SaintsI am targeting Jack Silvagni, would be the perfect selfless support to King, TDK is more likely to jump knees first into Kings head like he does with Harry.

Yeah this is my concern as well. SOS will want to make a statement and be seen to be doing something and while this is currently a position of need (2nd ruck/forward), I’m far from convinced we need to sell the farm for someone who plays those roles. Especially when we have the extremely promising Heath and Keeler developing in the VFL and with what Caminiti is showing. Not to mention Hayes, who I reckon Ross will love.

Hoping we get saved from ourselves here.

We have enough Silvagni types, doubt he actually gets a game to be honest.

Membrey is a solid second tall, but you'd love him to become a third tall

Mitch Owens has been great in that role and Phillipou will be a gun but probably moves into the midfield eventually.

We need a genuine big key forward that can chop out in the ruck. Caminiti has shown some really good signs considering he's been at the club for two months but we will know more about him as the year goes on.

I just don't think he's a genuine threat forward too

He takes the odd nice mark but averages two marks a game

Max Heath plays in a different way (less spectacular), but the signs from him so far are that he could extremely easily be another Marshall type, who just has a really good all-round game and is genuinely comfortable and capable either up forward or in the ruck.

TDK would be more than handy to add to the team immediately, but long term it’s hard to imagine we don’t have adequate options in Hayes, Heath and Keeler.

At a wedding with one of the Dekoning's close family friends and reckons he'll be staying at the Blues or heading to the Pies which was a surprise to hear. Apparently not much interest in joining up with Sam at the Catters.

No idea what ends up happening but another step in the right direction last night.
I heard from my uncles cats who has a close friend that lives in Denmark who overheard at a cafe from a source who overheard at a party of a distant primary school maths teacher of dekoning who heard it from dekonings Neighbour 3 Subarbs away that he actually wants to come to geelong

Pittonett played more in there yesterday.

If anything he seems to go 50/50 at best with Pittonett.

Pitt is a solid ruck but no star
He's our number one though, Pittonet plays 50% game time and allows TDK to go forward at times. The question for the MC is not between the two, but whether Pittonet supports him or we go with TDK solo and Silvagni helping out.

And he's still 23 btw.

TDK tracks very similar to Tim English who is now one of the dominant rucks in the comp, despite looking very ordinary and out of place when he was young.. I expect to see some huge development in his ruck craft as he builds the body and tank to play as a genuine number 1 ruck.. I am not convinced he will ever be a capable stand alone forward.

And he hasn't proven to be a threat at all forward. He hasn't kicked a goal and averages two marks a game.

I get he's 23, but he isn't 19. He'll be 24 in a few months time, most of the comps best rucks were ahead of where he's at at the moment.

What would you suppose he'd be worth in a trade?

Disagree. While I think Carlton probably stay smart and patient here, other clubs always get that “we want that toy” toddler attitude.
