Was thinking the same, last podcast Tiger71 and CB17 said we have Lynch and some other news about a big bodied mid in the pipeline, our structural deficiencies were exposed and we had an off night. Just don’t get a septic tank that’s needs the poo truck to suck it out because it’s overflowing.

Thought the same about Bellis. When our back line is Rance/Astbury/Grimes/Broad/Short/Houli there's really only the last two that can be counted on to get 20+ possessions and provide attack from defense. The problem is the pies had so many weapons we needed to cover

I’m not sure what coin Concs would be on, but I’d be in favour of keeping him, but st the right price no matching Freo’s offer.

BEllis could be our best bet at landing a half decent pick/player. His value was pretty high at the end of 2017, not sure if being dropped has devalued him.

I was hoping that Menadue or Markov would cement spot in Ellis’s role this year, because both have line breaking pace but hasn’t happened (yet) . Rioli is the other player that could easily play Ellis’s role.

I'm assuming that Griff Hampson & Drummond are all definitely gone,
Miles & CEllis almost definitely gone,
Personally, I prefer we keep BEllis, Conca, Lloyd, Townsend, Menadue, Markov, Moore, Stengle of our "fringe" players mentioned as trade, but we can probably afford to lose up to 3 of any of them without being too fussed. If we lose another midfielder, I'd like to pick up a Marcon (or equivalent) from VFL/SANFL as reliable depth.
Chol & Soldo - I am not fussed if we lose them as long as we pick up a cheap adequate back-up ruck.

Trade in Lynch, explore options for midfield and back-up ruck, otherwise hit the draft - including state leagues for replacing some experienced depth we will lose.

Conca is just a capper version of Dan Jackson. If he wants an opportunity elsewhere we should make it work for him.

I think we need to consider where George is at and whether we keep him if others come knocking. I like the guy but he's "mercurial" and that means prone to going missing, sometimes for large chunks of play. Remember we have Butler to come back into the team.

Brandon is tradeable and would have currency for a team wanting to inject some pace into their backline. But I would prefer we keep him. I don't think there's any need to cut too deep after one disappointing loss.

I hope we keep Lloyd. All the other maybes can be helped to the club of their choosing.

Yes but It's a strong draft , but players in return is the priorty.We didn't trade at all last year so I dont think 4 trades is over the top.I would like to see another 'A grader ' besides Lynch come in.Someone like Coniglio , Allir , Heeny , Oliver or dare I say it Gaff.

He hasn't impressed me when he plays in the middle. How about reboot the Vlas >> midfield experiment? Bring Garth IN. Grimes plays on the smalls. Play BEllis on the wing....backline is our 4 talls plus Short& Houli.
I've gone off Conca after poor finals games. & Jack Graham has to be dropped if not performing

Yeah I think vlas should rotate through there but he’s so bloody important down back hard to move him.
Garth has to come in and maybe even markov for houli unfortunately.... he’s been a great player for us but we need to get games into markov.
Yeah I’d play bellis on the wing and let him run.
Conca has to go.... horrendous skills and decision making! Dumb footballer
Lloyd isn’t quick but he should have played, very smart footballer who I hope stays with us.
