Hello Eagles fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

Keys you may like to sticky this post & move it to the start of the thread (so the sticky post doesn't rotate if a post is deleted before it), or copy it to your draft thread if you have one.

To have the list spots available to take picks into the draft we would need to delist Waterman and Witherden

Another club could then step in and sign either of them as a DFA - it’s how Greenwood got to North Melbourne from Gold Coast

It’s a dumb way of treating players who intend to keep as evidenced by giving them a contract extension
GC wanted greenwoods salary gone it was a brilliant play by them

So are we likely to see Adelaide coming to us for Rotham with the departure of Doodee as a FA to Lions and the potential loss of Elliot to the GWS to reunite the brothers?

I believe the Crows had some interest in 2022 and dafter another strong showing in the Grand Final this year, that pace is something to be admired!! Not really a KPD but a 3rd tall and can fill in at CHB.

What do you say Adelaide - 34 and Rotham for 24? A bargain piece of business. Make Josh the Pride of SA!!!

Can we start a rumour that Josh has been noticeably upset the club has been strong arming his brother and demanded he join the Beagles???
Rotham should play on the wing for us. GF race shows his speed credentials.

Trey Ruscoe delisted by the Pies, could be a DFA option.

Depending on what happens with Trew we could look at inviting him as a train on for a rookie list spot post draft

So both Yeo and Darling on the way out hey? Then makes a lot of sense why Jack was the only teammate to rock up to Yeo’s 30th 🤪😂
Where there is smoke there is fire.

All aboard Eagles Reid, Oliver & Brodie train.
I'm Mclovin this.

How do you think this midfield will fare? Young Brigade need an Oliver to protect them.
Oliver, Kelly, Brodie, Reid, Hewett, Ginbey, Culley, Burgiel, Chesser.

Im sensing it, Darling, Yeo, Sheed & Gaff are out the door this trade season.

It's interesting the trend for long term contracts is continuing given Collingwood have wasted a full player's salary paying for Treloar and Grundy to play for other teams (not that it's held them back obviously), GWS have lost players they'd prefer to keep due to the squeeze from Kelly and Coniglio and now Melbourne reportedly looking to offload Oliver. Our comparatively short 5-year deals for Naitanui, Gaff and McGovern didn't get anywhere near a return on the investment.

I suppose clubs feel more comfortable they can trade if they get buyer's remorse and for a better outcome than potential free agency, but a player would still have to agree to it and if they lose it suddenly (ala Gaff) or suffer repeated long term injuries (ala Naitanui and McGovern) you could find yourself only getting a pack of Twisties back and paying a percentage of salary.

Just doesn't seem worth it to me.

Tall defender is what I feel the club wants to explore. We previously had a pretty decent record developing talls off the rookie list.

Harry Edwards looks too cumbersome at times, easily lost on the lead. Good in pack situations or intercepting poor kicks but lacks 'servability' to bring back an old favourite.

Jamieson is quicker and more agile. If he can learn the trade as a defender he has the athletic attributes to compete. Look how hot the KP defender trade market is ATM. He's a project tall.

Edwards is good overhead. Jamison is not.

Edwards is a very good kick. Jamison is not.

Edwards can compete physically and will only get better Jamison isn't strong one on one.

Edwards played injured in his few appearances this year, but his performances weren't distinct from what was put up by others in defence.

Edwards is very slow jamerson is not

Because they're blinded by Curtin being the best WA prospect, despite the fact that ROB lives in Melbourne and has consistently picked Vic players in the first rounder over WA prospects.
It will be Duane Massey who’s based in SA I’d assume who is in the hot seat as recruiting manager.
I’m sure Rob will be having plenty of input as he was previously in that position.

Roger Daltrey, I can see it. I've always though Lou Gramm from Foreigner though.

Forget Oliver.

Not happening.
