God, I hope not. Only getting 1 out of 5 right was pathetic choices.
It was one of the worst drafts in history after about pick 7 if I recall.
Awful draft to have a strong hand.

DION TO GO ON

RICHMOND has a number of decisions to make on its senior players at the end of the season but Dion Prestia looks set to play on in 2025.

The Tigers are facing a fascinating off-season, with out-of-contract gun Liam Baker expected to move west and Daniel Rioli (Gold Coast) and Shai Bolton (Fremantle) also attracting significant interest.

Champion Tiger Dustin Martin has been weighing interest from the Suns, while former co-captain Dylan Grimes is expected to retire after back surgery ruled him out for the rest of the season. Dual premiership wingman Kamdyn McIntosh also remains out of contract.

Prestia is out of contract at the end of the season but is understood to be keen to go on next year, with an extension for 2025 in progress.

The 31-year-old former Suns midfielder has again had soft-tissue concerns this year but has returned for the Tigers' past three games and performed well in adding more experience to the club's younger core.

Prestia's move from Gold Coast to Richmond at the end of the 2016 season has been one of the best trades of the past decade, with him going on to feature in all three of the Tigers' flag wins.

DION TO GO ON, YOUNGSTER SET FOR EXTENSION

Who is the youngster set for extension? Surely not referring to Dion?

It's Ross, but given he's re-signed I left that out of the post

I would've expected guys like baker who have been at the club longer to convince players to stay

Don’t blame him if he wants to go. Loyalty in pro sport is overrated if you’re not in the top 2-3 players at the club.

Wish him well. The guy was on the scrap heap, we gave him a chance and he took it. Will always be a life member.

Channel 9 reporting Baker likely to go west, Rioli wants to go to GC and Bolton also considering it.

If Rioli and Baker go then we should hold Bolton. His value won’t be any lower end of 2025, so let’s see how we are going as a team and if needed let him go in 12-months.

The article says if we let go of bolton baker and rioli we could hold up to 6 first round picks. I would think it's 6 minimum! Ours, 1 for baker? 2 for rioli, 2 or 3 for bolton? And then we can upgrade some later picks as well as a pick for Graham or anyone else who may want to leave. Rebuild accomplished in 1 draft, and a top 2 pick next yesr to cap it off while they develop. Our next premiership!

If Bolton wants out really truly, I say we trade him now, while his price is at it's highest also we don't want players around the club that don't want to be there.

We are in for a world of pain the next few years. Hopefully the club bites the bullet and gets maximum return for the departing boys.
Who cares about pain. 3 flags in 4 years we should all be happy to take the pain for 3 or 4 years from here. See you all on the rise from 2028 onwards.

Going to be funny watching an expansion club playing against seasoned teams haha

I don't want to hold anyone who doesn't want to be there or isn't 100% committed to the place.

We hit the premierships hard, now clean out hard with the remaining spoils, and rebound hard with the higher picks.

clock is ticking on tassie getting like every decent kid for 5 years when they enter. need to make some cold business decisions right now.
