17 no good because we have later picks that are becoming worthless because RFC is sitting on its arse while Gold Coast and Pies already got it done.

Why would we give up 15 and 17 to get 8?

The club and BH know what they are doing i would not be in too much of a hurry for trading to get pick #18 which will become #19 once Darcy & Daicos have been matched.

Its a pretty even field once you get past the top 6-8 imo and different clubs will have different players ranked we could possibly get a player we rank at 12 at pick 26 and there are many clubs who will be after picks on draft night. Even after the bids have been matched our later picks will move up 3-4 places and we can always trade them into next year. Have faith

If we could do this it would be amazing but as our luck would have it, it appears no club is willing to trade their pick to us, so we’ll just miss out on the top echelon of players. Hopefully one of Ward, Callaghan or Hobbs slide.

Yep it looks pretty clear to me at this early stage that other clubs would rather deal their first rounders or early second rounders to anyone but us. We have the strongest draft hand and still have a top 4 list imo and I don't think anyone is convinced the dynasty is over. We are primed to both reload and go again next year AND set ourselves up for the future. No other teams are going to give us a leg up that's for sure !

I think tugga wants us to tag Knightmare when pointing out he's a terrible judge with no idea about football but a real talent for word salads.

It comes across as someone who undervalues established relatively known-quantity players whilst overvaluing draft picks despite the wealth of uncertainties that come with them. Given his head is always in the draft it makes sense, but yeah, not great trade calls.
