I would quite like this to happen (points factoring in picks shuffling back two places):

38 + 42 + 44 (1122 points) to the Dogs for 17 (948)
7 + 28 (2098) to the Giants for 2 (2034)
Future 1st + Future 3rd + MacPherson Salary dump (or whatever they want) to GC for pick 3
15 + 17 (1973) to the Crows for 4 (1751)

Then:
2 Callaghan
3 Hobbs
4 Ward
26 best available KP

Tell North to GAGF and resign CCJ with the prospect of the best midfield in the comp supplying him footy for the next 10 years.

Sorry to burst your bubble but if you trade your future first you can’t trade anymore future picks. If you keep your future first you can then trade the rest of your future picks if you want.

Also there is no chance any of that would happen except for maybe the first one.

Knightmare in his thread keeps naming hypothetical trades where we are getting reamed

pick 7 & either Balta or Bolton to GWS for pick 2
pick 15 & 26 and Stacky to West Coast for pick 10

KM doesn’t even watch footy from what I heard, goes off stats snd others work

Pick 7 (9 basically) may only bet us a pretty good player, but I’d love a genuine gun which we haven’t had in ages, and one that’s ready made. If we don’t get in a ready made midfielder then we’re stuck a bit, I feel.
It feels like outside Daicos and JHF and possibly Callaghan there's less likelihood of getting a genuine gun. The handful in the next tier seem to have the potential to be good to very good AFL contributors, but wouldn't be expecting them to be top 10 players in the comp types, which is what I picture when you say "genuine gun".

Points don't matter to teams like GWS if they are just using the picks to draft players.

I think GWS, GC and Crows would all tell us to go get ****ed for those offers. They are all way unders.

You can trade a future first and third pick. You are not allowed to trade a first and second pick for the same year.

KM is a fairly good draft watcher.
He's not.

I imagine he watches plenty of footy, but earlier this year he did add Paddy Cripps' brother to his top 50, then admitted he'd never seen him play.

The guy is adamant Lukosius is the best player drafted in the last five years. He thinks a guy drafted as a key forward who has to play half-back-flank is a win. That along with those trade suggestions, puts his credibility in the toilet.

They are not unders necessarily, the points serve a purpose and guide. They are within their rights to tell us to piss off as we are in our rights to do the same so a trade does not eventuate.

For some peoples view point they are unders, others they are overs.

Its okay for two and more viewpoints to pass in the night like ships going on a different course

Dogs one a strong chance.
Giants want to trade and that makes sense.. why not that as an option? They's most likely get Mac Andrews with 7 and 28 covers their points deficit
GC OK fair play re the future third, make it 26 and future first, that should get it done
Why not 15 + 17 for crows 4th? They want to split their pick 4 and that makes sense

Tend to agree. However, really hoping we get a slider such as Callaghan, or maybe Hobbs that turns out to be the Bailey Smith of this draft. They sometimes go around pick 7. Eg Selwood, Wines, B.Smith

Reality is, we won't know who becomes a genuine gun for a few years. It could be someone picked 10-25.

15 and 17 is too much for 4 in my opinion in this draft, I think, based on the interpretation of the talent spread over the top 30. 15 could be just as good as 4 which is really 6

That is its fairly even after 4 and maybe it might drop off after 11 or so but only marginally to 30 seems to be the narrative

Anyone got access to this?

Tigers’ resurgence: Top-5 pick could be inbound

Anyone hoping Richmond were officially off the cliff, think again. The Tigers are poised to add a top-5 pick to the return of Dusty and addition of Tarrant. Here’s how.

CCJ is so overrated, Jee wiz. He has done sweet f all for us, besides beat up a rubbish Adelaide side. I’d take a future 5th rounder that’s how average I believe he is. Yes taller players peak when they are older ok fine, but seriously. The guy has 0 campaigner, weak in the wet and an 0 personality. Go and get f’d CCJ.

We all know he and stacky got into a fight with each other when they got back to the hotel on the Gold Coast, thats why you’re leaving the club you pig

TLDR: CCJ GO AND GET FD TO NORTH. Over rated dud.Trade him for nothing so we can move on with this trade period Seriously. When are north gonna win 3flags in 4 years ? Never.

I reckon he’s piss weak as well. The free kicks will dry up soon. Take 38 and get him out the door.

He kicked multiple goals in 5/7 full games he played this year. Saying it was just the crows game is a bit of bs.

That's how I read it as well - altho there are a few potential smokeys /high risk - but potential top 10 players, such as Mac Andrew - he could be anything by the sounds - also Rachele, Milera, even Gibcus could be genuine guns based on there write ups

There's also a lot of unknown and risk due to some potential higher picks having injuries and a lack of games. There could be some gold in later picks

I would love to see us draft a couple of the low risk midfielders (Hobbs, Ward, Johnson, Roberts types) but also chuck in 1-2 x factor types and/or a slider that has injury concerns like Erasmus, Draper, Sinn, Sonsie, Butler, Chesser. Then 1-2 best available KPPs

Pick 7 and our future first for GWS pick 2 and a future third round.
Who says no?
Is it fair?
Fair?
Probably not

But if we rate Horne and absolutely want him, get it done sometimes you need to pay overs to get what we want

I thought you just picked crabs up and put them in your basket, carefully avoiding their claws. Shooting them seems like overkill. 😁

You need the shotgun to fight off the hordes, because 'picking crabs up' is one of the only ways you can still get prescribed Ivermectin (the variety meant for humans at least). ;)
