I see our good friend CCJ got traded today - did we just "eat" their pick 38 like sooooo many here kept telling me to "accept".
Or, did we deal like a mother ****ing boss today.
Good shit Richmond, this is more ****ing like it.
We basically got the exact deal i was saying we should go for - CCJ, our 3rd & 4th - for Tarrant & their Future 2nd. The deal is actually completely "Fair" to both teams - but with the sweetner we also get a 3rd now for Chol compo + we were able to get a completely fair deal despite the PSD looming. Dont fool yourself though, they could be getting a very good player for 10 years in CCJ. Personally i think he could be a rich mans "Mason Cox". Like a Trent Knobel version of Greg Stafford. Great work Tigers, terrific stuff
Now, I am all in on the Hawks thing. We are very well armed for picks and we can fully "have our cake and eat it too". I think some of these hawks will be going for "Tom Scully" kinda cheap. I am all for us going after 1, possibly 2, of them and really going full balls for 2022 - we might be able to get blokes like Wingard or Mitchell / Wingard for only 2nds or possibly 3rd round picks. I dont think any 1st rounders are required, and only a single 2nd or 3rd rounder, perhaps with an added 4th or 5ht thrown in. The only challenge will be cap - we will need salary dump Caddy & Gold Coast the ****ing idiots have now set a dangerous "benchmark" of what a salary dump trade looks like. - yuck. We then cut Garthwaite, Eggs & most likely risk cutting Cumberland, Miller & Biggy in the hope we can re-rookie. The may have to get very risky with contract re-negotiations (back/front end), but the pay off could be huge & even after trading for them we should get 3 first rounders & 3nd rounders & multiple 3rd rounders over 2022-2023. We will have a great abundance of quality kids to pick from
