Broad was actually our most consistent player before he went down with injury. IDGAF what any Supercoach/ champion data might say he never lowered his colours and he was one of my whipping boys a couple of years ago.
He took his game to another level this year, especially when other defenders went down.

The Giants offered pick 13 in exchange for Breust and pick 24. This was “generally agreed upon” by the two clubs before Breust knocked back the move.

Door still open for a last minute lowball offer for Mitchell.....
Pick 13 for Breust?lol
FmD we'll give 'em KB for pick 2 & Green.

A second rounder is more than fair for Hill, GWS is showing they won't just roll over for every player that wants to go home. And frankly although a second rounder would be very valuable to a club like Richmond, why wouldn't the GWS stand on principle. With their academy, concessions and whatnot it's just chump change to them.
They’ve already shown that they won’t roll over multiple times in recent years though. My view is that they are earning a reputation of being hard to deal with nowadays. It’s probably something they wouldn’t want IMO.

Now if we’re talking about players wanting to break contracts though, that’s a whole other story. Too many players agree to deals that they then go back on

its 3 picks. They don’t play him. If he was a consistent first team player I’d understand. But he’s not getting an opportunity at all.

they can ask but if they don’t do the trade at 22 then they are short shifting this bloke
Yes it is 3 picks so whats the big deal for freo to pay up ?
They have offered the player a 4 year contract. They dont play him because he is not playing to the coaches wants or needs but he is their player at the end of the day.

He had a great 1st year and Geelong are happy to keep him , You chase a contracted player with a 4 year deal you pay up - simple
Geelong does not have to let him go and its upto Freo to move him if they value him to offer that deal.

Thats what Richmond should have done with Higgins
