Jack Graham going will be a huge win. Will get more than he is worth as when he is no longer propped up by a good culture he will fall.

We should totally go for one of their gun young forwards and pick 30 is handed back to them. That would solve all our list issues in one draft.

their forwards is not going to cut it for a Larke medalist

This guys legit only job is to break news.

Caro actually mentions it, now RileyDipshit presents the information Caro gave us weeks ago, pretending he is breaking the news.

Absolute lazy, gutter journalism. Eat Caro's scraps you pleb

I don’t think people know what Graham is. Josh Jenkins said he doesn’t suit Port as they’ve got Ollie Wines and other similar types …. Graham is nothing like Ollie Wines. Wines is a clearance beast. Graham is a big body but he’s not a good clearance player. He’s not creative with his hands or by foot. He gets caught with the ball a lot. He’s a hard running transition player who tackles very well and provides good 2-way running.

If we can get a Port pick around #20 that’s a fair deal if Graham wants to move. I actually think that his perceived trade value in the market is a lot higher than his actual worth, thanks to 2 x flags and being 23yo and a good leader. So it might be a good time to cash in given we’d get maximum tote odds right now.

People might thinks he’s worth a top-15 pick, but how often does a game end and Graham inexplicably has had 10-15 x touches ..?? For some reason (maybe his role) he just goes for long periods or even entire games without finding the pill. Sometimes post-game I think Graham is the next Travis Boak, and other times post-game I think he’s a poor mans Seb Ross.

Whatever happens, hopefully any Graham trade can happen after TT / Hopper, as if we’ve got a good pick for Graham GWS expectations will go up and they’ll want that pick.

So 12, 30, Soldo or RCD and next years first for TT and Hopper.

Then if he wants to go get a pick around #20 for Graham.

So enter this years draft with picks #19 and #20 so continue the ‘rebuild on the run’ whilst still contending.

There are a couple of young KPF expected to go #19 & #20 this year- Isaac Keeler & Matt Jefferson, the latter trained with the Tigers pre-season !!

I really think graham is a plodder he isn’t quick by any means gets caught a lot and does have some brain fades been serviceable but no superstar I hope we ream port

didn't his GPS numbers disprove this theory - i agree he definitely looks slow - but he's actually quick and covers alot of ground ....

This is the worst Twitter account going around and I know it's ludicrous... BUT, if we pulled off something like this then give Blair a 10 year contract.

in the comments they reckon a future 2nd for graham is fair

I'll farken loose it if graham goes and we only get a future second

Yeah we come away like bandits here.

oppos saying 2 firsts for hopper coz he's contracted. well graham is contracted and a premiership player and we don't have the pressure of needing to offload him for the cap, therefore 3 first rounders for graham is fair

Castagna is quick and also covers a lot of ground... your point??

If we got a pick in the late teens for Graham and there are no key forwards of value left, I'd be keen on drafting Szybkowski.

186cm ready made mid from Dandy Stingrays. Back up for when Prestia/Cotch/Martin retires.

How the hell are Brisbane going to get all these deals done they need the picks for 2 f/s
Friggin Crazy to even think about

If they take him as a free agent - There goes the McLeave compo and if they trade for Gunston Hawks will demand a top 30 pick
Dunkley - will require 2022 & 2023 1st round picks

They have 2 father sons that are rated #1 & #20
They also have jack sh!t picks left after the dunkley trade

Good listen on the AFL website, 'copy cats', AFL daily with Parrot.

I strongly dislike him, but the way he speaks about our list, he knows us better than most journalists pretending they know us.

Acknowledged that Gibcus looked lost, which IMO, you'd need to be a really close observer to know that. On paper, aspiring 18 year old high quality kid. In reality, caught shitless many times this year and will get better for it.

Essentially they said, we're doing a Geelong and investing in this group again, adding two quality players alongside them. Maybe manage some of our boys the way the cats did with Danger.

It's a good listen.
We played 6 debutants this year - the most of any club. Like **** we're doing a Geelong, those campaigners bring in new players each year whoever is available.

Hey guys, hope all's well.

I reckon we should give a list spot to Quinton Narkle now that he has been delisted. Here's why:

  • Would give us some intel on the Cats. Credit to them for whatever changes they've made in the past 12 months.
  • An upgrade on RCD for sure, can find the footy 30 times at AFL level. Maybe not always but he can.
  • Friends with Bolton, might help with retention.
  • At the least he is great midfield insurance if we lose some to injury. Perhaps level with Ross for opportunity, and ahead of Sonsie although would still prefer Sonsie to be given lots of game time.
  • Still only 24.

At the very least, a midfield boost of Taranto, Hopper, Narkle, and keeping Graham, this would be a good off-season for us.
Then, especially if we're trading Soldo I'd love us to find a replacement. And would love if we could bring in another early/mid 20s key position if available.

Grimes, Tarrant, Broad
Vlastuin, Balta, Baker
McIntosh, Taranto, Pickett
Martin, Riewoldt, Bolton
Cumberland, Lynch, MRJ
Nankervis, Prestia, Hopper

Miller/Ryan, Rioli, Cotchin, Graham

emg/ Gibcus, Ross, Short, Narkle
Debatable if Narkle is better than RCD at all and Sonsie is already a superior player with scope for much more improvement. Plus you want an established Ruck and KPF? Lol

Does dealing Graham put us in a position to be able to have a crack at Bowes? Or is it not worth it as GWS will just want the pick anyway?

That was my first thought.
