The bloke on here on Fox Footy reckons Geelong are paying Bowes $400k x 4 years, and Bowes wants this because “midfield minutes” and “keeps him in the system longer.”

Either this report is not true and Bowes is getting more than this in his 4 year deal at Geelong,

OR

the AFL should never have allowed this deal, and it stinks of salary cap rorting and the AFLPA should be jumping up and down about it.

Has his limitations in the afl system,
But kills it in the vfl system,
Perfect player to help lambo and Morris
With the continued development of our
Young players on our afl list
And our vfl list, great character
Great leader and a Richmond man

He doesn't have to stay with us if he thinks he can make it elsewhere,,good luck to him if another club is interested. Then by all means let him go
But I think its in our clubs best interest to keep him and develop his leadership and coaching aspects in our vfl

Oh absolutely, if he did have another offer especially to still play afl let him go and with our full support but more let him have the choice if he wants to continue on we have a spot for him

Could even see him making some good cash playing divvy 1 or 2 in some of the leagues around the suburbs

from what i've heard, Aarts loves the club and if he gets cut I could see him staying in the VFL. Like the other guys out of contract he was told to wait until after the trade period
