Let's face it, if Dusty did want out and we got a 1st round pick for him, then it would be crazy not to entertain the idea.

Dusty will always go down as a Richmond great whether he stays or goes, but I doubt he will play on past next year if he remains.

If Dusty wanted it, I'd do it.
I’d prob get over it but I’d be pissed he didn’t get to 300 in a Richmond jumper

Year end, if Kai Lohman and Sam Flanders aren’t getting regular games would be handy if we have some trade value to pursue. Then Himmelberg unrestricted. That would be 3 good pickups with hope one of the MSD picks turns out ok (one of the talls or Teal). Devastated if Dusty does not finish at Richmond.

Yes yes and yes

I really cannot believe the stuff thats being mentioned here about Nathan Broad
30 year old 3rd tall defender getting $800k offer

No F**** Way
He would be lucky to get 500k x 3 years

Mc Nuggets was 25 years old and not 30

Plenty of 30yo's get paid more than 25yo's. OK we are talking about being paid for the years he is 31, 32, 33. But he has a few more runs on the board than McSlovern did when he was signed on that cash by a cellar dweller club. Right now, if the Eagles want established best 22 players to come to their club, they will need to pay overs, they will know this. I would not be shocked if they try to lure a number of our WA boys, if they do, they get instant quality from a good club. In return they will know what we want. It doesn't end in Davidson, but it starts with Harley. :)

If he wants to play for a basket case then might as well do it where the weather is better

Love the Broad re-signing, will be very valuable to our back 6 and team over the next 24 months with a new coach coming in.

Dusty going doesnt constitute a clean out , if these vultures wanted to raid us once again I’d be demanding
r1 plus hollands/Flanders
and we’d cough up a bit of Dusty’s contract
R1 & a decent kid.Now I know the suns have a rep of doing dumb things but practically giving up 2 1st rnd picks for Dusty is far fetched even for their standards.

Well said. Lohman for me should be a big target. Kid has so many tricks, adds a point of difference to the forward line lacking forward craft players, a Country Vic boy who would revel on the big stage.

Even just him and Himmelberg into our forward line with Lynch backs makes it so much better.

We can turn this around by being super smart.

Nope 2 1st rnd picks for Dusty is nothing compared to Bowes and pick 7 for a packet of chips

If we wanted a equivalent trade we should be demanding 4 first round picks for Dusty

Sounds like Cumbo

Some of these recycled players make a great case for the draft and even mid season draft alternatives.

At least the raw youngsters have the chance to be something they have not had a opportunity to beforehand unlike some of these recycled that have missed for different reasons. Miss once there is another chance to miss again clearly whereas the those having their first crack also have upside potential

Getting in one of the best players of all time to a nouveau franchise struggling for relevance for 2y at cost of a r1 and a kid actually makes alot more sense that trading out jack Bowes handing a R1 in the process
