Hello Tiger fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

Players like Naughton, Lewis, B King, Lukocious would cost us a top-10 draft pick minimum. Kosi will cost us something I assume around pick-40.

If he plays 20+ games I’m hoping for around 30-goals which would put him 40th in the competition this season. If Lynch remains fit and kicks 50+ then that’s a great 1-2 punch.

I think it’s unrealistic to expect 2+ goals per game average, given for players with more than 5-games in 2023 only 17 averaged 2+ goals per game. Less than one per team average so why would we expect our second banana to be one of them in 2024?

Given he won’t cost us much then at 23yo he’s not a bad get given the lack of available options.

600k/year Mc Stays last 5 years at Brizzy averaged about 1.1 goals a game. He's improved that to 1.4 this year. Kosi 3 year averages 1.1 a year. His best was 1.4 goals .

$ 1 million Lynch averages 2.2 goals over his career

Good target for us.
Out of contract,
right age,
fits a need (Urgent one).
Has a bit of the Nank trade feel about it for me.

very strong midfield

We also need to look to add some pace to our forward line.

Or maybe Yze returns D Rioli to the forward line and we see someone like Brown take his spot?

The unknown of a new coach is pretty exciting

I'd love to see Rioli on a wing. Can run all day and get's forward plenty already even as a half back.

Dees have typically had aerobic beasts that can run all day up and down the wings for the last few years whereas we've gone for more contested and marking types as a priority. I think that's one ting Yze will change up.

Agree, he would be great on the wing, but I also wouldnt be suprised if Yze challenges him to become a Kosi PIckett type forward / mid.

he cant play anywhere but half back bro

With Yze wanting us to get back to being a high pressure forward half team, I can see why the club is wanting to bring in Harmes.

Personally, I think we should be going for younger blokes, but I can see him coming in and playing the Lambert role covering for Dusty or Bolton's opponent when they push forward. He's very good defensively.

Could also tag if that's something Yze has an appetite for.

It does make a lot of sense with the amount of rebounding defenders we have coming through.

We do also have a lot of unproven small forwards though. Just need one or two of them to take the opportunity. I can see a Campbell or Coulthard slotting into that role next year with a full preseason.

You can slot Nic Newman in at HBF in front of Weller. Surely Dan Rioli was Richmond too?

FFS Suns don’t want players they want points for their 3 academy players.
They need to offload players to keep their live picks. Going into the ND, they can only keep picks for the spots they have open.

Suns have 3 senior listed payers out of contract, so will need too offload contracted players as well. Graham has 3 years left so could be a salary dump situation.

Kozi paired with Cut Lunch will make a meal of the oppo!
Throw in Bauer and Dusty...mayhem!!!!

Feel like Koschitzke is about the level of move we can make, unless Vets start requesting trades & he seems a pretty reasonable target for us approach, i'd expect a 3rd rounder, which is still a bit considering how little of picks we have at the top end.

He is 23, and shown some good glimpses of form & his agility around the forwardline could suit our style well. Yze was with the Hawks when they recruited him as well, so you hope thats whats driving the move.

My biggest concern is he feels like a moneyball version of what we need, which is kinda the only moves we can make, but we still need to make sure these guys are actually going to be able to reach a level that you can invision winning a flag with one day. I'm not sure if he has that, but if his price is low on both trade and contract sense, its worth the risk
The move for Koschitzke is smart. Brings in a 'proven' performer at the level, near 50 games under his belt. Will be playing in a forward line with a genuine number 1 target in Lynch and good mid sized support so should get plenty of opportunity. If Yze is true to his word in regards to giving the players clearly defined roles then Koschitzke should thrive

We shouldn't be paying anything more than pick 62 for Koschitzke IMO. Hawthorn don't really value him otherwise they'd offer him more than a 1 year deal.

I don't think 2 goals a game is unrealistic, that's a goal every 2 quarters and given he kicked around 1.5 a game in his first year at the level in a poor Hawthorn side it should be the aim especially when he has a genuine number 1 option in Lynch taking most of the oppositions focus.

So long as we allow Daniel to be attacking and score goals I’m ok with it. But his best has by far been at half back.

It’s shorty I want to see return to being our best half back.
