Hello Tiger fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

tugga you may like to sticky or merge this post, move it to the start of the thread (so the sticky post doesn't rotate if a post is deleted before it), or copy it to your draft thread.

We shouldn't be paying anything more than pick 62 for Koschitzke IMO. Hawthorn don't really value him otherwise they'd offer him more than a 1 year deal.

I don't think 2 goals a game is unrealistic, that's a goal every 2 quarters and given he kicked around 1.5 a game in his first year at the level in a poor Hawthorn side it should be the aim especially when he has a genuine number 1 option in Lynch taking most of the oppositions focus.
Direct swap for Ben Miller.

Miller is a known quantity, which has been underwhelming at best.

I would rather give another player a go than expecting Miller to dramatically improve

Miller has no killer instinct. At least with Lynch and Riewoldt you have two competitive beasts. If you’re playing KP you have to have at least that.

what does everyone think of being linked to james harmes i say he is the right age bracket and can break lines would be handy addition to the midfield

Not sure I see him as a line breaker. But he is a competent AFL footballer who can play in a number of roles to slow a dangerous opponent, locking onto mids, running backs or small forwards.

So long as we allow Daniel to be attacking and score goals I’m ok with it. But his best has by far been at half back.

It’s shorty I want to see return to being our best half back.
He’s so damaging in that role across hb. Always admired how he can run full tilt and roost the ball 60m. His numbers were insane in 2019 or 2020 ? Meters gained he was up there with the best.
Think he definitely slots straight back into that role next year on a permanent basis ( no midfield rotation) defensively we are considerably better team wi him back there because he can clear the ball so quickly from that deep defensive zone

Agreed. Crazy idea but I think our forwards kicking goals is a great plan

Correct he is a known quantity and I'd rather keep him as depth for the 2024 season and then move him on next year if he doesn't improve in a new system.

I dont think we really need to move any players on

Tarrant , Riewoldt , Cotchin , Castagna all retired and possibly 1 - 2 players might be traded out
we will only take 2 selections in the draft and 1 upgrade from the rookie list to main list imo

Odd question - any chance of Kosi playing KPD?

I don’t know his game at all honestly (work ethic, agility etc) but could Yze see something there like a Himmelberg situation?
Was drafted as a KPD and didn't play a game in 2019 and 2020. Was going to be delisted until his switch forward.

If Cadman is any good he will cost an arm and a leg.

Not sure its viable to do another massive trade so soon after the big Hopper and Taranto deals. We get it wrong and it sets us back a hell of a long time.
Be a clearer Indication next year if he's worth pursuing.

Moving Rioli from HB would be a disaster.

I'm all for it if it means Balta is moved out of defence.

Thought Cadman looked pretty ordinary in the games he played. Their last 2 tall forwards that went at pick 1 in the draft in Patton and Boyd were both out of the league pretty quickly. Id be cautious.
Cadman is a kid playing against men who are probably squatting twice his body weight in the gym. The fact that he is competitive at all at this early stage would tell me he has potential Maybe your expectations are unrealistically high

The team if players were drafted at the club they supported

FB: Hunter Clark, Ben Patton, Tom Cole
B: Jake Soligo, Changkuoth Jiath, Lachie Weller
C: Adam Cerra, Jordan DeGoey, Nat Fyfe
HF: Tom Green, Sam Weiderman, Ben Ainsworth
F: , Mitchell Lewis, Lachie Schultz, Aaron Cadman
Foll: Max Gawn, Marcuc Bontempelli, Noah Anderson
Inter Ben Hobbs, Flynn Perez, Samson Ryan, Brayden George, Maurice Rioli Jnr
That backline is crap

Nah, he was pretty good but not great. I think we can get Short back there, bring Brown in to develop, and get Daniel back to the forward line. Even though he dropped off from 2019-21, he’s still better than anyone else we have for the role and is possibly energised by his move to HB for a couple of years.

Pair him up with Maurice and let them wreak havoc together.

They will get the points to match academy bids, but will need to offload players to keep them. They have the following picks
4, 28, 32, 42, 47, 56,60, 65, 68

Only 3 players out of contract on their senior list. Constable, Day and Sharp. Sharp likely to get traded for F3 round pick.
They will need to off load additional players. Chol. Graham, Burgess and Hollands have been linked with trades.
Hollands likely to go to Carlton for F2, Chol and Burgess will be cheap and Graham could be a salary dump.

Rookie list spots also count (otherwise, I don't see how Brisbane, for example, would've been able to go to the draft with 7 live picks with the senior list they had), which means that with 3 uncontracted players on the senior list, 2 players currently with real chances of leaving, Blakely retiring and 6 other rookies uncontraced, that leaves the Suns with 5 free spots on the senior list and 8 category 8 rookie spots (Suns have access to 9 players for Cat-A heading into next season, I believe, with McLaughlin the only rookie player with a contract for next season). I don't believe Hewago Oea needs to be elevated to the main list either.

So that leaves 13 free spots with 9 current picks, potentially becoming 11 or 12 picks (talks of either the Dogs' pick 36 or the Dog's F1 being apart of the deal, last I checked).

You can make that potentially 14 list spots depending on when they decide to announce Casboult's resigning.

His best football at the club was/is off HB.Teamates look for him.He creates run.
HF he's along side Dusty.Teamates won't be looking for Dan.
Be a waste putting him in the wasteland role again.

Not every team wastes their small forwards like we have been
