Hardwick going to GC might work in Richmond's favour. He has often been accused especially during the clubs decline back to mediocrity of playing favourites. Well, perhaps he'd want some of those favourites at GC for culture sake if nothing else. It could mean that we might get a better return from GC than we would from other clubs for those said players. Anyhow just like Adam Kingsley was interested in HRS and Soldo (and I pray to God he still is, especially the latter) Hardwick could really do us a favour here. Anyhow we definitely need all the help we can get having dug a hole for ourselves giving away our first rounder this year for Hopper.

Blair ,Livingston, and Clarke need to be brave. Put a few big names on the table, get us a few nice picks in the top 30.

Short no still young enough. - our best rebounder by far

Vlas yes. Would got a a first rounder in the teens comfortably. - would free up a spot for a kid banks or brown etc I’d explore it if it gave as the chance to move up the draft to a top 5 pick

Soldo late 2nd - Samson as back up
Hugo token pick - depth player at best

Graham late 2nd or 3rd - would put sonsie in the seniors

Would cripple a lot of our depth though. We’d be bottom 4 for sure and gutting the list probably isn’t worth it in the short term for questionable draft picks

Yes. Have wanted to call him out for a while but you get shot down quickly on here. He would go well with Balta and not sure why the Dons don’t use him. He was a top 5 draft estimate but had 2 ACL’s I think setting him back.

Have to be bold through we need to get in this draft have to be brave . I would consider sun's first pick for Short in a heartbeat it's up for grabs.
 
Everyone complaining that we have no youth but then freaking out at the prospect of trading a 32 year old Dusty.

Whether we like it or not, there's truth to the noise and it's definitely a possibility.

If the deal meant Richmond got a pick and some youth like Hollands and Sharp - you'd have to consider it.

There's no way Richmond would do it if we didn't get a clear benefit out of it. It's a big if, but IF it did happen, it would be a win-win for both parties

They go with wright at FF , I think there’s a question on his agility at afl ,,,dominates VFL in defence by looks
 
I was really hoping we could sneak into the 8, or at least finish top 10 to stop the Hopper trade being a absolute disaster, but its really looking likely we just gave up pick 5 & 25 + $5,000,000 for a midfielder that looks pretty 2nd tier. Even when he gets a lot of it, he doesn't feel like he impacts winning in the significant way.

Might be the worst trade we have made in my tiger lifetime of 38 years, can't think of a worse one atm

Still early, but I feel this one is going to hurt us… a lot.

I never thought i would say it, but i think i could be ok with Vlaustin moving on as well if it got a first rounder. He is still a great player, but shown signs of decline as well. I thought he was going to be the guy who took over the "General" role down back, but it doesn't look to be.

If we moved him on tho, i think we would be bottom 3 very quickly. I think without him or a competent Grimes, the backline will be destroyed. We would be committing to a lot of big losses moving Vloss on
