I want Fyfe to stay win premiership with freo and ask those idiot to shut up .one day Bennell , another day assistant coaches not working well with Ross , Mundy not a captain , nobody want to come to freo , those come only a b grader . What else ?

How is the media going to spin him becoming captain and signing for 3 years?
Its a desperate attempt to keep him and we've sacrificed our player payments and everyones pissing off.
Hopefully all the other clubs see how toxic fyfe is and dont offer him a contract. That way he will get 500k to clog our list

If he gets right up there for brownlow again, it would be insane to have signed early in season.
Even if he gets injured in the season he will still get a good offer from the club and rivals.
He is going to get a very, very, good offer from Fremantle. how hard can it be. It's like going out with miss world and holding off in case miss universe might be interested.

Because the bargaining agreement has not been completed so the salary cap size going forward is not yet known. Why would you sign when both oarties don't have all the information they need?
Did people miss Barlow's interview with Nat last month? Or the fact that Fyfe has already gone out of his way to catch up and train with McCarthy.

Pav used to wait until the season was almost over. So did Mundy. Neale waited until the bye, so did Fyfe last time he re-signed.
We can afford to be patient.
Fyfe came out during the season to dispell rumours of him leaving because he, and the club new, that may put off players wanting to come to our club. he also talked about the future at the club in his podcast. A bloke who does that is not leaving. Its actually laughable that the rumours are still circling.
Fyfe is contracted until the end of next year that's if he doesn't sign a new contract in the meantime.
If Fyfe waits for a FA offer, he's still a RFA which gives us the right to match the offer if it does eventuate.

The sooner it gets done the better for the club. The media will have a field day with this. We have other things to concentrate on (like getting off the bottom of the ladder). If he has any respect for the club, he will do it as soon as possible.

What is your issue with Nathan Fyfe?
Having the media flapping all over the place that Fyfe is going here, there and everywhere makes his inevitable re-signing so much sweeter. The media have tried this on so many times, and listening to Hackdorn make shit up and then backtrack almost makes it worth tuning into 6PR. Almost.
If Donny from Spearwood would stop phoning in then it would be even better.
