LOL ... How ridiculous!
Shouldnt you be asking Carlton and/or Wines for a comment or denial? The club is the offended party, you idiot!
Media: Bill Clinton reportedly had an affair with his intern Monica Lewinski
Media: We have approached Hillary Clinton for a comment. She has said at no stage did this happen, & will issue a statement soon
Hillary Clinton: At no stage did this happen!
Bill Clinton: [crickets]
Monica Lewinski: [crickets]
Edited for accuracy:
Media: Bill Clinton reportedly had an affair with his intern Monica Lewinski
Media: We have approached Hillary Clinton for a comment. She has said at no stage did this happen, & will issue a statement soon
Hillary Clinton: At no stage did Bill tell me he slept with Monica Lewinski!

Monica Lewinski: [crickets]
Then you would be expecting Ollie will shortly sack his manager for not acting in his best interest as Captain of a professional sports team, in doing something that has destabilised the club, undermined his authority as captain and humiliated him. Right?Gah I f*cking hate AFL media circles during this time of year, but this year especially, one week down and only five trades have happened
Port have said "we're not trading him"
Carlton have said "we're not interested"
All it seems like to me is his management enquired about a possible trade and it went no further than that, some AFL journo scraping off the bottom of the barrel for stories makes this into a bigger story than it is.
Mountains out of molehills
Player Managers are causing problems, when there were none in the first place.Gah I f*cking hate AFL media circles during this time of year, but this year especially, one week down and only five trades have happened

Fingers crossedThen you would be expecting Ollie will shortly sack his manager for not acting in his best interest as Captain of a professional sports team, in doing something that has destabilised the club, undermined his authority as captain and humiliated him. Right?
That club statement was so unnecessary.
ADvertiser trying to deflect Crows woes. Every negative cows development means we are reported negatively, dont worry about accuracy. This doesn't cover anything. There is a massive difference between Ollie and his management shopping him to Carlton and Ollie requesting a trade.
We won't trade Howard then. **** they're stupidagain from foxfooty
Who do you see the saints getting and how?
Think Hill, Ryder, Howard, Jones all get there. A first-round pick will somehow be involved for Hill I reckon, whether it's now or future. Port might receive a stack of middle-low-end picks for Ryder and Howard. Jones could go for nothing because of Sydney's other priorities.
And they, totally predictably, have not addressed the actual allegation that his management spoke to Carlton. The club didn’t need to release a statement about the Ollie rumour. CD could have simply denied it as silly season antics.
Co-captains has been a flaming disaster on all levels.
Hawks can get stuffed. I'd rather see him at Essendon then another Port player at the Hawks. The Hun now saying "multiple Victorian clubs" are into Robbie Gray now
Robbie Gray attracts strong interest from Victorian clubs
Jon Ralph and Sam Landsberger, Herald Sun

Robbie Gray appears certain to stay at Port Adelaide next year despite strong interest from Melbourne clubs and uncertainty about his future in recent weeks.
Multiple Melbourne clubs have inquired about the Port Adelaide star, who turns 32 next year and qualifies for unrestricted free agency.
Both his camp and Port Adelaide were today emphatic he would play at the Power next year.
Hawthorn was one club that had considered whether to chase Gray, a move that could allow the Hawks to play ex-Port star Chad Wingard in the midfield.
As little as two weeks ago more than one Victorian club believed they might be able to drag Gray out of the Power, feeling he was interested in exploring a return to Victoria. Gray played his junior footy at the Oakleigh Chargers.
The club didn’t need to release a statement about the Ollie rumour. CD could have simply denied it as silly season antics.
I have just come to realize how much I just love Bigfooty!
Posters want Ollie gone! Sucks as Captain! Cant kick! Is too slow! Wakeboarding!!! ...... Board: "Get rid of him"
Media reports Wines' manager approached Carlton for a trade!! ...... Board:
"How dare he? ... Get rid of him"
That reminds me of my near mistake. I left for school early so I could watch people fishing in Port River for mullet on docks 3 & 4.
Don't hold your breathThen you would be expecting Ollie will shortly sack his manager for not acting in his best interest as Captain of a professional sports team, in doing something that has destabilised the club, undermined his authority as captain and humiliated him. Right?
