I was having a look at the HSV Camaro's last night, the base model is like 60k and the top spec 160k.

Wtf

Are there any other model cars where different specs are nearly triple as much? At that much price difference it should be considered an entirely different sort of car.

Up spec models are usually such a rip. If you bought the 60k model and spent 100k on it yourself, you'd have something much better.

Dual cabs are the same, for the most part it's the same engine and chassis with a few minor tweaks, mostly cosmetic, and they charge an extra 20-30k for it

Yeah looks nice. Black rims look tough. I've got those. 6 months in haven't scratched them yet!
Haha thats the worry. I wanted black on black but they had this ready to go so was happy enough.

Is that still the case with sports cars? With all the digital programming and electric systems, that are controlled by a specialised tool and software only available to dealers, is it possible?

I mean I want to unlock the 'police mode' on my 20 years old Commodore, the programming machine still runs at 600 bucks, the rare times one is for sale. Either that or go to a 'holden' dealer and pray someone there knows what they are doing on a defunct brand of car.

It's not like ****ing with the HQ.

True really. Height is such a bonus. My missus doesnt feel safe unless shes up a bit higher which is good for me as it means I can get anything I want in terms of SUV lol.

Nice and roomy. Way more boot space than the prado surprisingly, and wide for our second kid which is in the works in the next year or so.

Putting a baby in and out of the capsule in a sedan looks like absolute torture to me. There was no way I was going to endure that.

You leave the baby in the capsule and take the capsule in and out

No, capsules get replaced at 6-12 months anyway, so would get very little use. You have a pram anyway. Who the hell wants to lug a capsule around when you have your own utility caddy in a nice pram :D

The capsule plugs straight in to the pram

Yeah if I was spending that kind of dough there no way I'd get that. Never driven a camaro but have driven a modern mustang they are as heavy as your grandpa's Belmont.
Of the big 3 American muscle cars I reckon the Dodge Charger looks the best.
Dodge Charger looks like it could be a modern continuation of the classic old school Monaro

Nope sorry you mixed me up. Charger is the sedan, Challenger is the coupe.
