Would you care if the Vics played WA in a fully fledged Vic v WA SOO ?

SOO would be the pinnacle of our sport if it was done correctly. I would absoloutly support any real SOO concept.
It was on the AFL's watch that SOO got pushed aside because they let the clubs decide instead of telling the clubs how it will be.
Anyway it's history now and we unfortunately never ever get to see the best of the best playing each other in serious games in our sport.

Anyone else worried this might be a boilover? Looks like the Vics will steam roll this all stars squad on paper. Hopefully the games played in good spirit and they allow it to be close.

It's just a shame so many "all-stars" are injured. Buddy, Heeney, McGovern, Darling, Tom Mitchell & Mitch Duncan would make them much better if fit.

It's disappointing West Coast haven't come to the party like Richmond & GWS though. Tim Kelly, JJK & Hurn would be handy.

Rampe & Zac Williams should be there too.

I predict a Victorian drubbing in the first 3 quarters followed by a "comeback" in the last by the Allstars.

All in good spirit of course.

Victoria by 1pt in a "cliffhanger".

You’re arguing with yourself again.

Speaking of which how is your second account going? Been suspended lately?

I want to see state of origin more than anyone, however sooking about it because it's not in a charity game is a joke. If it was Vic vs WA then most of Australia misses out. How hard is that to understand

Because its a state of origin game AND a charity game, hence the name "State of Origin". People are criticizing the state of origin part, not the charity part. If it was a true state of origin, you'd probably see even more money raised. I'd have my WA jersey on preorder already.

The newly revealed All Stars logo is an aesthetically pleasing and clever concept. However, it shouldn't be used as the central focus of the jumper. The individual player's State of Origin should be the central display, housed neatly on a shared white and gold uniform. In addition, Allies is a nice name than All Stars. It generates comradeship between states while the SoO element enforces individual state pride.

Here's something I've whipped up as an example.

I can't handle this level of stupid anymore. Continue doing you mate.

It's a game solely started for relief for the bushfires
Go whinge in the SOO thread

Says the guy who can't comprehend the words: "State of Origin."

And your whinging more than anyone on this thread sunshine.

On you get then.

Ablett should be omitted as his last few months in 2019 were not exactly impressive. He isn't in the top level of midfielders anymore. At best he can show glimpses every so often of the player he once was.

Kicked 34 goals and had 20 touches a game last year off mostly a half forward flank. Made the AA squad.

Still in the best 30 odd Victorians if you’re picking an actual football team, but most likely his decision not to partake anyway.

Nice work!
The ACT one had me puzzled for a while....

In all honesty, if Dusty Martin wasn't well known as a Brownlow medal winning footballer you could easily mistake him as the local Frankston drug dealer...

Or even either your concept where the sponsor would normally go, or the state flag or something

Those 3 have good enough excuses.

Kelly has never played a game for us, we probably want him to get some time with the team in proper match practice.

Kennedy has had plenty of injury issues in last few years and he isn't getting any younger. Hawkins, Tex and Riewoldt plus Lycett as Grundy will be rocking more often than not is tall enough for the forward line.

Hurn probably snubbed the AFL like they snubbed him last 2 years for the AA captain! :)

Did you intentionally quote him twice after he accused you of being schizophrenic?
living up to his assumption. He is quite funny you know. The only problem is he does not know how funny he really is. All good fun on my part. At least you know when someone is taking the P155..
