BLoke been playing his arse off all year and ive been banging on about it too.

Reward for effort - even if its under the radar a bit.

Man I must've been watching a different game. I can understand Hardie getting votes because he did a lot right despite making some mistakes. But I thought Ward absolutely butchered it all day and was terrible.

Could it simply be the case that Ward was the highest possession getter for Box Hill and as they won, he received top polling for his team?

Sometimes it does feel that stats play a bigger part in votes received compared with actual impact

The votes are given by the coaches of both teams. You would assume they would be more sophisticated in how they assign votes.

It is a much stronger team this week presuming what has been named actually eventuates.

Presuming Collingwood won't be much chop though given their injuries to the senior side. Can't be much left running around in the 2s.

COS, Knevitt, Mullin, Edwards, Clohesy all still interesting players to watch for the future. Willis making a late bid to keep a list spot for next year. Pro and anti Hardie factions to clash again.

Still way more interesting than the VFL has been for a number of years prior to this year.

Most of our interesting players have been playing in the AFL the last few weeks.
Most indeed...

Not all

Cough... CLOHESY...cough

While we've been rewarding VFL form and are a little weaker than a month ago the 2nd last Pies should be beaten today. Very disappointing if we don't get a W.

As an aside in life you can feel good about yourself after a fresh trim. In bigfooty life it's a fresh avatar trim. 2nd last pick in the draft and 3 months of ressies with the bankers and our next promising career is born.
