Johnson and Markov as old experienced AFL players should be dominating against this low quality opponents

People keep saying play the kids and demote the old guys in the seniors.The trouble with that is we have no decent kids in the VFL to replace them with.It’s actually depressing watching the VFL this year because there’s literally no one to get excited about.Our lack of young talent is disturbing to say the least.

Maybe a little harsh on Sullivan who has been good this season.
But yes, it’s difficult to disagree with the rest of your observations.
Apart from N Daicos who fell into our lap, it seems the next best draft pick we got right is playing at Geelong. Those 1st and 2nd rounders have been very underwhelming. Do we need a refresh of the recruiting department or do we need to take a hard look at how we are developing our draftees?
