The umpiring was actually worse on replay without adrenaline of the night in play.

The commentary didn't help. Sheer indignation at any free in North's favour. Protests of injustice of any unpaid to the dogs.

JB guilty too. It's ok James nobody watching will ever accuse you of bias. Or if they don't know who you are there's a good chance they'll guess you're a dogs or blues supporter anyway.

Still wouldn't get a game for the dogs according to their supporters.

Watched the replay overnight, have to say that I didn't think any of our players played badly. What I mean by that is there weren't a lot of obvious mistakes made consistently, we just got beaten a lot in the contest. I think the question I had was what Dumont, Ahern, Hrovat added to the side and in the end they just seemed to roam around and get patchy touches without much effect. In the end only a handful of our players had a real effect on the game, the rest just seemed to have a hand here and there.

It's probably true as he'd still be injured. They spend their money buying poker machines rather than rehab facilities and qualified medical staff.
They're a bit angry. Apparently Ziebell and Cunners are nothing but thugs and Higgins vanishes under pressure. We need more quality people like the two Libbas I guess.

Agree with this - a quiet achiever not dazzling or doing noticeable like Majak smashing bashing.

He seems so calm under pressure and I can't recall him making mistakes - he just takes the ball cleanly and disposed of it just as well. I think I've seen him running with the ball a bit more too which is great.

A steady hand in the backline - such a good compliment to the other mix of backline players.

I'd be interested to hear from anyone who's been watching him closely with a better take on his games so far.
Should call him Magic Tones Murph!

When was the last time we seen Zeebs burst through the midfield, take off with speed towards the 50 and kick a goal on the run?

That moment gave me Goosebumps, our captain is very fit in 2018

I think he's similar fitness - he just has burst energy in the tank because he's not running around 10m behind the play all the time in the midfield. His closing speed even when playing as a defensive forward is much better. Using his power to accelerate rather than burning all his tickets just trying to make contests.

BTW had a powerful game on Saturday. I had him and Goldy as my unlucky not to get votes. Love his aggression.

That was my favourite. The one that was the complete opposite of what he displayed on the night. Nice.

This is where having an option to swing him into the middle late in a game when he is relatively fresh from spending most of the game deep in the fwd line is very valuable.

The Kangaroo Bens – Cunnington and Brown: Speaking of keys to their team’s chances, Cunnington had 22 contested possessions and 30 disposals to go with eight clearances in his team’s last gasp win over the Bulldogs. Brown kicked five goals and brilliantly toe-poked a ball he was under too much pressure to pick up to Jack Ziebell for the match winner. Both absolutely elite players.
