After Q time, they kicked 17.14 to our 6.3

It should have been a 100-point belting in reality.

Not a single thing to hang our hats on with that game. Flush it down the shitter.

Made all the worse, that the Hawfs played and beat a top 4 team that beat the 2 weeks ago...

The Hawks set about proving that you can do it. We barely beat teams around us, try our best to lose the couple games we win, then flop around crying about how fantastic every other team except us is when we lose.

Until we get a ruthlessness and some hard edged expectations, we ain’t going nowhere

Interesting that. Commentators were divided on who should have got the free.
One of the wildest calls ive seen. Xerris opponent went to take a speccy over him, in a ruck contest and Xerri gets called a block because hes eyes on ball looking for the contact that occurs in 99.95% of ruck contests. No ruckman expects Warrick Capper over the top.

got a real footy lesson. we were never going to win this. just disappointing to watch them with poor tackling and sub par effort and panic decision making.
As I said in game day thread bombing long to I50 with zero aerial threat does not work. pinks cameo is very short term. good for him that he kicked a bag of 2.

I would rather see durrsma and the hard one get more games. form or not for rest of the year.
unpopular opinion but rather them play and get more games under their belt for long term benefit rather than same same getting games for the short term and zero benefit.
wont change the results but will get us closer to that silverware that Clarko was banging on about…

OK - so instead of tagging let's try something radical. How about you task our player to actually run with his opponent and try and beat them. There's an idea.

Gawd did they just lose touch today at times with their guns or just lost them altogether?

Anyway we know we are 80 points off the Premiership

Definitely disappointing after a good 5 weeks, but the Swans are 2 games clear on top of the ladder. They're very good, and we're just getting started.

No excuses today - everyone was a step below for us and the Swans got a comprehensive win.

We are coming off from being the worst team in the comp to be 17th by percentage only. We face the top side that wants to bounce back from a loss last week and the emotions of Heeney being done by MRP. It was always a danger game and we equalled them in the first. A couple of early turnovers and the momentum shifted and we then fell apart.
We are a young team and we can expect to be trounced in some of our remaining games but also be competitive in some games.
Like the Titanic, we are turning very slowly.

Our last 5 weeks have been about pressure first and foremost, and we didn't give a yelp in that department today.

The difference in intensity for young team is the difference between a close game and being blown off the park.

We need to bring it consistently.
