Autopsy Wheels falling off? 2 point loss to the Saints

That was pathetic. We were 30 points up in the third quarter against a very mediocre and dour St Kilda. Best teams don't lose these ones.

Funnily enough Carlton were about 30 up against GWS and lost too. Big swings in momentum with lots of goals one way seem to be in vogue this year

Disiplanary.

He gave away 2 50s last week & got a "group punishment"... apparently.

Gulden sub next week then? set up so many Saints goals

I dont think Parker makes any difference today, this is the same shit he has been a part of.

Mills similar.

They would want to bounce back quickly, lucky Carlton lost
His competitiveness can influence when things are not going well.

Disappointing but absolutely no need to panic.

We’re two games clear on top of the ladder.

A percentage streets ahead of anyone else.

Our three losses this season have been by a whopping five points, one point, and two points.

Plenty of time to get back on our feet for September.

Arrogant football, momentum and their ball movement killed us.

Went to our heads, 3.11 after half time is inexcusable. Poor defensive transition once again, hope it stings lads.

One of the most embarrassing performances in recent memory.

Glass half full approach, 3 losses under a goal now this year, lets hope these are the losses we can learn off. Managing these close games as of late has been poor.

Out: Amartey, Wicks
In: Hamling, Adams
Sub: Co Warner

Heeney up forward.

Really don't think Parker in mediocre reserves form and 6 weeks off, or Mills first match of the season is going to help us. If it were a wet game, maybe Parker, but doesn't look like it.

Richmond we were crap of course and gave it away early and had to catch up, Freo are a decent side can excuse that more.

Today we had the game basically one, we were all over them, and lost to a pack of second rate spuds

To be honest with the forward entries the Saints got you could have Weitering as our FB and May as our CHB and it would not have made a difference. There was an open man somewhere. Burnt in transition, maybe the midfield is tiring out.

Wouldn’t say the wheels are falling off, 17 other teams would want to trade places with us right now.

Having said that we are in a slump, the midfield isn’t as effective as earlier in the year.

Amartey, McLean, McDonald only one of them seem to be in form in any given week up forward.

Mills in and Heeney forward could be a move to refresh the midfield a bit.
