Nothing surer, after the media gets into us all week and Pies have a big win against the bottom team the scene will be set for a big win to the Baggers.
What is obvious is that the Pies have barely got out of 3rd gear this year to date, yet get the win next week (and do the double over the Baggers) and we are within striking distance.

as i have already said you guys should win easily. but if you dont, there is no way you are better than us this year.

It's hilarious to see how quickly the goalposts shift - judging a season based on 2/23 games is truly incredible stuff

In what universe am I being cocky? I have said multiple times that you can still finish above us. I am just being consistent on the metric used to determine who has been better no matter the result. You are the one trying to change it into how many times have the two teams beaten each other

I was part of the thread in 2023 and pretty sure it was agreed that when both teams made finals it was based on how far both teams went. Pies went further and so were better - pretty simple. As well as another bottom 2 team.
If Collingwood just miss finals, and Carlton just make it and get bundled out without contending, the result is inconclusive given the head to head records were (at worst to Collingwood) 1:1, Carlton had double up games against the bottom 2 teams in the comp and Dissentgate against Fremantle. (The poor umpiring against North for both Collingwood and Carlton cancel each other out).
