Why do we struggle against melbourne based teams?

We have beaten: Adelaide, Fremantle, Brisbane, Sydney, St. Kilda, Richmond

We have lost to: Carlton, Collingwood, Hawthorn, North Melbourne

We seem to play well against interstate teams, but struggle against melbourne based teams. I was wondering why this was the case?

carlton we lost one quarter

collingwood and hawthorn fact the team didnt turn up.. we played like poo.. everyone does that we did that last year when we went down by 1203981230 points against adelaide @ aami..we had a form slump then and now we are starting to get our act together... the team looks excited and thats soo good for me to watch.. bombers

im starting to get excited again.. just a little bit though.. i no we are going to get pumped by one team this year. it will happen

its not that we struggle against melbourne teams just that we struggle at the MCG.... notice that every one of those games except for the one against the kangas was at the MCG... and we lost to the kangas simply because they were better than us and we didnt have lloyd and hille from memory...

We only stuggled to put it on the score board otherwise we would of beaten them. and also the kangas started the game better then us but if we have kicked better at goals it would have been a different story.

Yeah, we played good patches in all of the games we have lost, we just didnt do it the whole game.
