Yes, low expectations. The club stated their goal of 3 premierships by 2025, but would they ever hold anyone accountable for the failure to achieve that? Evidence would suggest not.

It's 3 premierships at any level in 5 years. On current form the AFL and SNAFL sides aren't going to be delivering premierships so the pressure is really on the new AFLW team to deliver.

The AFLW players have one big thing in their favour, they are not in Hinkley's system that hampers the development of young players and causes senior players to regress.

Ross Lyon coached teams have a very defensive style no doubt. His record is compelling though.
