There is definitely an argument that there should be prizemoney distributed in stages for teams that makes finals, preliminary finals, grand final and win the flag.

Would effectively push the salary floor to something like 75%.

As for Covid that must be the entire team now surely....

Through all the hilarious chaos, Petrucelle doing his hamstring after coming out of covid isolation has been swept under the rug a bit.

That's damning for mine. Once again he cannot get any continuity in his football whatsoever.

Yeah not good. I rate Petch, but his whole deal is running fast so there's not much point to him if he does a hammy every time he tries it.

In hindsight I'm glad the AFL didn't postpone that North game like they should have. Let this shitshow roll on and on and artificially hold us in the basement. 2022# could fast track our list rehabilitation and gagf to the whiners who will no doubt come out.

On board with the burn it down sentiment to most of the offield staff though. Our physical preparedness is embarrassing.

He is just a nothing player right now. Rioli back has killed any remote chance of him actually being valuable on this list.

He's down the pecking order for small forwards, they randomly chuck him in the midfield in the WAFL like that will be a master-stroke.. now he's injured again.

He's not a pressure forward... and he can't hold a candle to natural small forwards like Jones, Willie and Ryan... so where does that leave him?

His bits of brilliance simply aren't enough. They don't happen enough to justify him taking that list spot. Trade trade trade.

I see you come from the Nesbitt school of trade talks...

WAFL season is on now, maybe he'd prefer to stay and help the Falcons rather than get another token AFL game. He's already had his debut, what more would he get out of it?

Yep fair enough, happy to have him at West Perth. Don’t want him to learn any bad habits with the Eagles.

Petch played wafl last week end then did the hammy at training this week .

Are they not doing their recovery properly?

Barrass did the same thing played then did a hammy at training

Trade trade trade.

Agreed. But hopefully ROB doesn't market him like such....

That 2017 awesome haul hasn't turned out to be all that great in the end has it?

Brander - gone
Allen - injured
Ryan - regressed
Petch - injured
Ainsworth - gone but came back for a game to remind us all why he's gone
Brayshaw- gone

And of course we missed Kelly.

Obviously I think Allen and Ryan will come back/good, but geez.

Going to be awkward when he lines up in the back pocket tagging Daniel Rich.

Simmo is writing that down as a non negotiable for Knights as we speak.

Well there you go thats music to my ears Dark Sharks a new game plan ....... bring it on.

I like it :thumbsu: ...... a game plan where by players are asked to be accountable for a specific opponent ....... what a novel fu(king change that will be............... ...................... and non negotiable's too .......... simply WOW ............. Dark Sharks you have made my day.

oh hell yeah ......... is this the start of our new strategic game plan.

It didn’t seem like an awesome haul on the night. The draft picks we brought to the table seemed awesome at the time though.

It's still pretty good. I'm not judging the forwards too harshly this year as the inside 50s are so low. Ryan is AA and Allen has the potential to get there. If you end up with two AA in one draft then you're pretty happy.

Petch is a handy player, lacks consistency but is still a decent pickup for the selection used on him.

Allen will turn into a good player, he is that now. I am not sure about him as the man at FF, we have really yet to see him where the best defenders go to him.
Ryan is a front runner and needs a coach that won’t put up with his off days. Should be trained up to work through the midfield as Bolton has at Richmond.

Nothing in the rest of the list. That’s about the going rate in drafts, you get one out of 5-7 right.

Who is Petch a handy player for? Baker is a handy player at Richmond. That’s what handy is.
