Just had Heath Black on SEN. Didn't catch the whole thing but he was diagnosed with ADHD at 31 and it has changed his life around because he got assistance and now has tools to cope.

As I said didn't catch the whole interview but it sounds like he works in that area of mental health nowdays and one of his points is that this constant pile on to an individual with a mental health (as he called it) condition can lead to consequences for the individual from becoming more distressed to a possible worst case scenario, said he recognised many of the behaviours of DeGoey in his own poor behaviour instances prior to diagnosis.

So guys, maybe lay off the 'he is a piece of s**t' type comments. I am sure he wont read this but there is plenty piling on from the twitter sewer to bully in chief Gerard Whately.

I am being serious here, one day a player will get piled on by the sanctimonious mob led by Whately and Wilson and they will top themselves.

After Spuds match, after all the lip service about 'time to talk', after the hypocricy of the media patting themselves on the back about how woke AFL is about mental health, we need a guy like Heath Black who to this day experiences mental health issues to come on the radio to tell it how it is.

Bet we will hear no contrition from the likes of Whately or Ralph or the other pile on experts.

as someone that used to work with young people on the spectrum (autism and ADHD), ADHD can result in person being more impulsive, but normally that is to do with stressful situations/blow ups (ala black), or dealing with procrastination/concentration. I'd be surprised if there's a notably higher chance of sexual assault in people with ADHD.

I'd say a lack of respect for women and a sense of patriarchal privilege has more to do with

We currently have Owens and Windhager who have the potential to be anything and Owens has the ability to kick goals which makes him the same type of player as a DeGoey but is far more of a contested player , Windhager just reminds me of Lenny Hayes so really why bother with DeGoey.
This is there first season so expect a massive improvement next year with a fully preseason under there belt with strength and conditioning.
The brains trust has been doing a great job in making our team competitive so looking forward to the trade and draft period to see what they can pull off.

Yeah look, I'm ambivalent to recruiting him but we have 3 years with this list before they start to retire so now's the time to go.
If in 3 year's we're talking about his retirement then that's fine by me because he's a free agent. If in 1 year he's in jail then it's fine because he's a free agent.

As I said, it’s not the “incident”, it’s that he’s stupid enough to travel to Bali in round 14, be at a party, be filmed, be filmed in a way that’s clearly a red flag for woke and alarmist media to run a mile with, return late and miss a training etc.

I don’t know how he came to be late but ****ing airlines are out of control. I had to get on a flight that connected in Brisbane and refuelled in Darwin. 17 hours from leaving home to the time I got through the customs here. It’s insane. It’s about a 6 hour direct flight.

Don't make out DeGoey a star when in 8 seasons has averaged 20 possessions once in 8yrs , good player yes but stats wise he is Membery level good.
He is a free hit trade wise and a good player but do you really think Lethlean would have a bar of DeGoey at the club after being a AFL manager who went through some drama of his own.
I think Taranto has a proven track record and 2yrs younger would be a target.

I was diagnosed with Adult Attention Deficit Disorder ADD. It was like having 6 voices in your head at once when trying to answer a question. The answer often was the one that was the most outrageous. Same with actions. No filter was the issue.
I was prescribed dextramphetamine (speed). Whilst it seems counter intuitive the speed slows down the creative keft side of the brain allowing the ordered right side of the brain more influence.
Never felt better and more under control....pity I didn't do this 20 years ago.

So question is if you take a prescription based drug does that affect your drug results regarding performance enhancement?

I must say the Degoey video is pretty harmless and she seemed pretty into it. Who are we to exert our reality of what is moral and right.....it is up to the reaction from the person that behaviour is directed to....unless a law is broken...which it was not.

Moral outrage is just media trying to stay relevant and trying to out woke each other.

Degoey is a soft no from me as where there is smoke there is fire but the club should do a risk assessment and make the decision from there.
