It's cowardly to do nothing. If you're a supporter like most on here and you've been a long term member and live and die by the results of the club, I don't understand how you can look at the state of the club at the moment and pot people trying to make some noise about it.

People dont understand that protesting you actually do have to something that people dont like. Otherwise it's not really a protest innit

11 different clubs have made Grand Finals during Hinkley's tenure. Not us though.

Making 3 Preliminary Finals in 10 seasons is not a good record. Winning 2 finals in 8 years is not a good record.

North Melbourne’s Plan B if Clarkson pursuit fails

North Melbourne will contact Ken Hinkley and Leon Cameron about its vacant coaching position if Alastair Clarkson turns the Kangaroos down.

North Melbourne has not given Clarkson an ultimatum for an answer today, but have instead asked for some sort of indication and an update on where he sits.


The Clarkson camp understands the Roos eventually need to broaden their thinking, while North Melbourne now knows Clarkson is considering the Bombers approach.

Big brain thinking would be for us to have a confidential verbal agreement/understanding with Clarko, get him to reject North, North takes Ken, and we then sign up Clarko. Pipe dream, but a nice one.

5 months ago Kane was stating that Ken had to make a Grand Final this season or he was gone.



Caro chirps in and says "well I don't think the money is that relevant because any club that is more of a recipient club to the AFL, there's payout clauses and incentive clauses so I don't think it would be the full payout".

Less than 5 months later sitting in 12th and supporters are being treated like mushrooms kept in the dark and fed shit. So 5 months ago he needed to make a GF and money wasn't an issue. Now the club and the media insist that Ken is being treated unfairly because there's still a year to remain on his contract.

Spoke with a former player in the last week who was adamant that based on what current players have told him, that even the older vets in the squad who have been under Ken for years think his message has gotten stale. There's only so much "work harder for longer" that someone can take before they tune out.

This idea that he still has the players in his corner is a complete furphy.
