Next year's draft is better, apparently. We'll probably be trading the same number pick (9) but from a better draft.

I can't believe we're even offering pick 9. North seem crazy not taking that, but is pick 3 that much better than pick 9 this year?

This time next year we'll be saying how much better the 2024 draft will be.

Having a player now is worth more than having them next year.
Unless we have so many champions, we can't cram another development player in.

Don't know but if we give them anything else along with pick 9 and Clark for pick 3 then we're getting absolutely reamed.

That deal already values him as low as pick 25, the more we add the worse that value gets.

25 for Clark is probably on the money. If we throw in something else then he is really out of favour with the club in which case its simply better that he goes.

Why would we trade a contracted Clark for anything not weighted in our favour? Are North just desperate for a trade they can say they “won” this period? To hang their hat on to fans??? There’s no way we should be offering more than Clark and 9 for 3.

Clark and 9 for 3 is an appalling deal.

Thank god Norf were even stupider than us not to take it.
