As it's a heritage jumper for them it's there's too. They've always had majority navy on their jumper.

Ports still black and white, with a sliver of teal, Collingwoods colours (and even try to steal their jersey)

The Suns are mostly Red, which is Sydneys Colour

There's only so many colours to go round.

The only team that probably doesn't share a colour is Hawthorn, because who wants to be sh** coloured.
Heritage?
When in their heritage did they ever wear that jumper? They've always been the fruitloops.

Port are teal. The only club with teal. They've tried to diminish the amount of teal in their jumper to be black and white like the Pies. They should go the other way and embrace the teal.

Swans are red AND white. Suns red and yellow. It's not the same.

I hope we wipe those smiles off their faces tomorrow night.
So they choose a navy guernsey and they are the home team? To force us into white? Or would we have had to wear white anyway? Don't they like their own home jumpers? Weird.

Edit: sorry accidental g. I posted before reading through.
Doh!

Yep. Has modern written all over it.

Agree. Still some doubt on Fog at the moment. If he's not in Gov goes to Gollant.

I didn't realise how quick Young is until the North game. Did anyone else see him chase down Stephenson as he was running into goal?

His chase caused him to get pinged for running too far...far out the speed was impressive as he had a lot of ground to make up. He absolutely flew past Hollands who was also chasing.
According to the AFL app was the quickest guy on the ground actually. Ran 33.3km an hour. Second quickest a carlton player has been clocked at this year. Behind Harry in round 1. Our big blokes can go

Liking Young more and more. He still has the odd poor moment and games where he drops his confidence a bit and starts punching everything rather than marking. But his good is miles in front of his bad and took a key mark towards the end of the Geelong and GWS games to really seal it. Hopefully that self confidence just grows from there.

I can see us dropping Cerra into the back line a bit more this week to allow Fisher to play more midfield minutes and accommodate Walsh. Obviously Fish was a big key to the win last week and he got the 2 coaches votes off Vossy as a result.

If Adelaide wins (which I expect) it will be because their small zippy midfielders get those free runs into their forward line. We have to deny them the ball as much as possible around the clearances to win.

To counter zippy midfields, Cottrell might get a go when fit, Cottrell would be a great addition to the team, he impacts contests, runs hard all day, kicks goals when he needs to

Sure as a pure footballer he doesn’t beat guys like Fisher or JSOS, but I suspect the role he can play as a defensive forward who runs back to defense will be critical to protect our defensive 6, due in part to the inability of Cripps, Kennedy or our ruckman to do that.

Sure you may say that is our wingers role but our game appears to be built around stifling the opposition and Fisher has had to do it recently for us to stay in game early until our forwards click, suspect Cottrell will do it better

I said majority, not the same. Also teal is a colour, not their only colour.

I thought I'd seen it referenced online as a heritage jumper. But I see that was wrong. Either way it doesn't matter, it's a non-issue.

Very happy with the ins, they far outweigh the outs. A huge amount of quality back into our side.

This is our strongest midfield that I can recall us fielding for a long, long time. Finally get our best 5 pure midfielders (Crippa, Walsh, Hewett, Kennedy, Cerra) on the park with our new toys on either wing (Acres, Hollands)

If we play anywhere near our potential we win easily. I’m excited.

Got the all clear from doc to head to Adelaide.

On the flight tonight.

Walsh, Kennedy, Acres all selected.

A shame about Doc.

Go the mighty Blues 💙💙💙

Looks like Cerra &/or Hewett probably spend a bit more time down back in place of Doc, then Fisher more time up forward

Or maybe Fisher gets the sweeping role that they employed against GWS.
