GET SOME ****ING SMALL FORWARDS!!!

Probably the biggest reason for Hawthorns resurgence. They built a game plan around players like Moore, Ginnivan and Watson. It's pure chaos and some teams just can't handle that unpredictability. It destroys us two fold - we don't have the defenders to stop them (we haven't for years. We'd get torn apart by people like Ronke and the power smalls because we couldn't stop more than one). and secondly, we don't have dangerous smalls of our own so defenders can just waltz out of our back line with ease.

Multiple smalls has literally been the tactic since 2016. The dogs did it, then richmond, then the pies, and now the Giants and Hawks.

It's not ****ing rocket science. But apparently for us it is.

Hawks, big bodied mids kick it to small forwards, we went the other way, small mids kicking it to medium forwards…

And before them, Hawthorn had Cyril, Breust and Poopy.

The only thing I can think of is they're letting the players have post season fun before breaking up any friendships with delistings.

I hope you are right. Wouldn’t put money on it though.

There is no such thing as hope, history doesn't lie, numbers don't lie.

Shortcut rebuild will never get you to the top, we are taking the long approach.

Our angle and opportunity of attack is 2028, we need use the cover of the tasmanian chaos to leapfrog others.

We just need to get the list ready for 2028 and not going up the ladder as soon as possible.

If we can get lobb down here, that would be a huge boon, he is very much like a waite but key defender.

Parker to the middle would also do plenty of goodness.

we need to bring in a bunch of absolute campaigners who can’t stand losing and are proven performers. Yes they will need to be on the verge of retirement and offered longer deals and more cash than is reasonable.
