Before and after the Grand Final
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to know what everyones plans were before and after the granny?
Does anyone know if Collingwood FC will be holding any function/event before the game and after it?
Re: Copeland Trophy
I was in the same boat last year, i called up 9.00am on the dot this morning and was able to get my tickets, though i was on hold for 45mins.
I think they should look at booking out a bigger place, maybe make a huge event out of it somewhere that hold 5,000 people. I dont...
Regarding Legend memberships - does anyone on here know how many Legend members we have? i'm just thinking they will have to put a cap on the amount of Legend members we have, because the club couldn't guarantee GF tickets if it keeps expanding.
I'm a Legends Member, but this is my 1st season so i'm unsure what happens come GF. I would assume you just get 1st priority of tickets that go on sale.
Sorry to go off topic, but this thread got me thinking about how Buckley is going to inherit such a good midfield, better than any he played in(potentially) with Beams, Sidebottom, Wellingham, Pendlebury, and Thomas all in the 21-24 age bracket then add Swan, Didak and Ball into that mix.it...
I know what you're saying. BUT the big picture is if he doest start kicking goals i really cant see us winning the flag, Friday night showed that the difference between Riewoldt and him was goal kicking. Our first final last season against the saints proved what difference a goal kicking forward...
Spot on. im sick to death of him missing the easy goals. thats the only thing stoping him from being the best player at Collingwood and a top 3-5 forward in the comp.
Just a quick question what do you guys think we would be willing to pay Luke Ball? im guessing between 400-500k a year for 3 years, so how many teams do you think would be willing to pay him that amount?
Didnt fraser gehrig state after he retired that he would only go st kilda and it would be silly for any other club to pick him up back when he was thinking about a come back
As a Collingwood supporter im not to fussed about not getting Ball, but i wouldnt count us out the race yet he could nominate for the national draft and we could use pick 30 to get him. Do you guys think Melbourne will use pick 18 on Ball? and do they have any other picks in the 20's?
Also i think teams close to winning a flag would benefit the most followed by the ones with the biggest support because everyone would want to play for the team they barracked for.
Id say they would have restricted and unrestricted free agency. Unrestricted would properly be that when a player has been at a club for say 7 year or 150 games he can choose where he wants to go, Restricted would mean say after 4-5years the player can sign an offer sheet with another team but...
Now I understand what you saying but some of it is crap. I am sick of people saying we cant land a big fish most of the time its out of our control, The Judd case was out of our hands we didnt have a low enough pick to satisfy West Coast and Judd wasnt going to shaft West Coast they would have...
