Re: Jolly a Pie
That's awesome. Really happy with that and he was definitely the one we needed first IMO.
I note that Peake has just been picked up by the Saints from Freo. Meaning another midefielder for them. Ball looking good also I reckon!
2 out of 3 aint bad I reckon!

Re: Collingwood makes Darren Jolly offer
This was good to read:
"But Jolly's manager Paul Connors was adamant Jolly would be playing at Collingwood next year.
A deal for Collingwood's pick No.14 and possibly a player is close to completion.
"Darren Jolly will not be playing for Hawthorn...
Geez - it's gaining momentum:

"While most of the big names had already been floated, the availability of Collingwood's All-Australian Leon Davis and Carlton's Andrew Walker...
It was a randow caller. And he asked Matt White if he'd heard anyhting along those lines. Matt said no not at all, but would follow it up now that the random caller had mentioned it....
I think if you have a look through his year, based just on the 'in the best' he probably warranted his spot over those that missed?
I didn't notice how he played on the day - Beljak?
If they are short, which I know they were throughout the year, why shouldn't he play?
It was an awesome day. Made even better by the weather - where did that come from! Hot and Humid made it tough for footballers but easy for the spectators to drink.
It was my first one for a while....was very impessed.
I think good coaching from NNG really. And in hindsight, not enough done to stop it from a CL perspective.
Cora Lynn had a superstar forward line, and NNG by dropping 2 back to their backline, ensured play was restricted between the two arcs (as CL left 2 free in their backline also).
NNG...
Yeah, Tumbleweed has taken some time to run through it all.....
It did take a while but CL did get it back to level pegging. But NNG had just too much play running in twos and threes whereas CL did not.
I must say it was dissapointing..... I thought CL were looking good when they slotted...
What sort of finals experience does Darnum have and will that have an impact in this match? Obviously Mal has won the odd AFL premiership, but what about others in the team.
Just looking at it from afar, given Cora Lynn went thruogh this last year, and it's also at their home, surely that's a...
You said it twice....
Geez - lot's of in's there for Cora Lynn. NNG struggled on Sat. I thought Catani were home. Then bang, bang, bang, bang. Once they were down Catani not sure what to do.
You are an absolute peanut. Don't mind giving it out, but the second some one has a pot at you, you turn all aggressive.
And I'd like to point out most of what you said were excuses. Typically Darnum.
I reckon you might be searching for excuses there - they got rolled - pure and simple. Mal was off in last 5-10 when it was done and dusted, not in the balance. He may have even taken himself off - can't confirm that though?
And the ruck, they took off the good one for whatever reason, and...
