I see your 1977, and raise you 1910, 1919, 1927, 1930, 1935, 1936, 1990. Half our flags. So if history is anything to go by, Collingwood gets the job done more often than not in the 10th month.
Getting in early.
OUT: Reid (inj), L.Brown (susp)
IN: Medhurst, Fraser.
Hopefully Reid isn't out for too long, and I think Leroy will get a week or so for the trip.
This will be the week Josh gets his long awaited 200th, and Meds needs a chance to prove he's in the best 22 for...
I'm with you Thommo. Medhurst should get his chance to come in.
The way the MRP is going, Leroy will probably get weeks for his attempted trip on Ducker Selwood I think it was. Which means Josh would get his 200th.
Actually, make that 4. I believe St.Kilda also had their worst performance of the season against us. Some very unlucky teams this year, playing their worst against the Pies.
"How do you swallow an elephant? One bite at a time. So that's what we're trying to do. It's a Chinese proverb. The elusive premiership is the elephant. You just chip away and you focus on the process. One bite at a time."
This.
It's just like the ol' Collingwood supporters have no teeth, are unwashed, uneducated, have no money, line up at Centrelink to collect the dole, are scum, ferals etc.
You know the person using any of these in a conversation must be a simpleton, because in fact the majority of us are...
Re: Fraser - you are a disgrace
Bang.
Leroy has limited ability, but has massive plums. Josh and Cam can enjoy the VFL til they get a set. Even Dicky has bigger plums than those toothpicks. Playing 2 games in 2 days that's immense.
I think Bennell is coming in for Jones today, which makes them even younger and more unpredictable. In saying that, the last couple of weeks the Dees have looked tired, and need the break to freshen up after a couple of months of good footy. I'm expecting the Pies to punish them.
Heard that attempt at a joke, he just hates the Pies doesn't he! I'm suprised the story got a run, obviously not have been at his behest, as it only scraped in at the end of the sport segment.
Does anybody actually like Quarterbrain? His constant Hawthorn drivel on One Week At A Time is...
I feel your frustration. But remember last year, all our stars were playing finals injured, so it's good to see they are managing injured players better this year. Surely we all prefer to have everyone tip top for September.
