Whereas Whitecross has more touches, tackles, I50s than anyone else in the BH side, plus 2nd equal marks (1 less than Shoey) - and doesn’t make the best at all..!
Shoey is, and may always be, a case of unfulfilled potential.
That said, played as a lead-up forward working up the wings, he normally halves contests. Doesn't take many contested marks, but doesn't often get outmarked either. Structurally, that's a good thing to have in your side. TOB is...

This is the way I like to look at it too.
We've lost three 2016 Best 22 players, but picked up three likely 2017 Best 22. We're certainly weakened next year, but with improvement from our pickups in next 12 months, I think we're back on par in 2018.
