And what do we have to show for it? Apart from an elderly list and a completely embarrassing finals record? But I guess we’re still in transition? Too early to tell?
scott was almost as keen to get them out of the club as he is to get 30+ years olds in these days. That is one thing in his coaching philosophy that Scott has changed in the last seven or eight years.
i don’t see why. People have been calling for change for 5 or 6 years now, and nothing substantial has changed (including the results which are almost creepily similar year after year after year). If scott changes the game plan and we suddenly win a flag that would be terrific, but there is...
These guys never get dropped. Or at least if they do, it happens in desperation after a week 1 finals obliteration or months too late for the team to adjust (ala dahlhouse this year).
‘jump to the negative’? He has been there for 11 freaking years. I’m glad that you are enjoying seeing how devastating this news is for other geelong fans though.

If Selwood hadn’t attacked him petracca would have just run on and delivered inside 50 himself, at least he was forced into pulling off a 50/50 handball. I thought selwood had more of a crack than most last night.
Fair criticisms, but I saw plenty in his first year with the club. He is also good overhead for a skinny rake, and some of the size issues are probably down to I think a shoulder or elbow injury - my impression was that he lost size from first to second year.
very thoughtful post seeds, thanks for going to the effort.
I dislike ideologists generally, because they are dogmatic. But in this context I am clearly one of your ideologists (even though I will love the club and team until the bitter end). I don’t think being critical is a bad thing though...
all fair points. I for one would be ecstatic to see him gone. Let someone else have one last crack with this group, but get rid of the the deadwood and play 4 or 5 of the kids, people might be pleasantly surprised at what happens.
Play attacking, instinctive footy - with hawk and Cameron (and...
